Das Hotel ist ruhig und central gelegen.
Die Residenz war sauber.
Das Frühstück wurde uns im Garten serviert. Im Garten hatte es viele Blumentöpfe mit Pflanzen.
Das Frühstück war bescheiden, der Kaffee war gut.
Gutes Preis Leistungsverhältnis.
Wir werden wieder im Gorden buchen, wenn wir nochmals nach Funchal reisen.

Super accueil des propriétaires, aux petits soins pour leurs résidents. (Polyglottes). Le parking est un vrai plus. Même si le bâtiment est ancien, il est propre et bien tenu. Petit déjeuner basique servi au cœur d'une terrasse végétalisée très agréable. Au calme au fond d'une impasse à deux pas de la vielle ville de funchal, toutes commodités à proximité. Dans son jus…. Plutôt calme et propre mais kitch et vieillot. Ça sent la naphtaline La salle de bain mériterait un coup de jeune. Le pommeau de douche ne tient pas, et l’eau s’écoule avec difficulté La gérante est sympathique et arrangeante.

Perfect location in a small street, away from the noise of the center but just in the middle of nearly everything in Funchal. Parking with modest fees. Very nice client reception. Nice building, lovely courtyard, big rooms... An excellent choice when looking for a cosy, reasonably-priced place. Enjoy it and say it !

An absolute gem! Fabulous location in a quiet area of Funchal with a unique family run personal feel. Beautiful historic building, well maintained & immaculately clean with fabulous courtyard garden for breakfast. Thankyou to all who work so hard here to provide this special accommodation. Positively surprised! Very good + Well maintained Heritage Bedroom + located in the middle of Funchal City. The beach promenade is very close and everywhere can be reached on foot. Hotel service friendly & nice. Visit again probably YES.

Staff, breakfast & coffee were awesome.
Beds could use a foam topper - hard and a bit uncomfortable. Rooms really could use a ceiling fan since no ac. But really enjoyed the location and English church evening concerts we could hear from our open window @18:00 each night

Bed was chipboard and rock hard, the pictures and description are not accurate, there is no terrace, our bathroom was down the hall, no tea and coffee making facilities etc. it’s a very charming building but even in a short budget the beds were dire and no air con. Think twice. The location is excellent however. Bit the hill to the hotel is cobbled street that are sharp as is the road.
