Very nice hot spring

The staff were all very kind and polite and the atmosphere was very comfortable. The room was clean and the food was delicious.

高湯温泉のホテル花月さんに宿泊しました。外観は山のロッジを感じさせる建物です。中は広いロビーがあり、ゆったりとして良いです。スタッフの対応も大変親切で、感じが良いです。お部屋も広くてゆったりと過ごすことができます。和室で自分は好きです。畳は昔の懐かしさがあり自分は好きです。部屋からこの時期は紅葉を見ることができて良いです。 お風呂は露店と大風呂が分かれています。露天は外を見ながら入れてよいです。今の季節は紅葉を見ながら温泉には入れて良いと思います。硫黄の温泉で、大変良いです。 夕食は結構豪華でした。前菜で色々な種類があったのは良かったです。これは日本の良いおつまみになります。里芋、栗、とろろなどです。お造りもマグロやシイタケなど良かったです。嬉しかったのが、マツタケの土瓶蒸しです。香りが良かったです。中の具材も良かったです。豚のアルザス風煮込みは豚の存在感があり、食べ応えがありました。牛肉のそば味噌朴葉焼き、お肉が柔らかくてお味噌の味がきいて食べやすかったです。ご飯のおかずにもなりました。日本酒に会う美味しい料理でした。 朝ご飯は純和食で旅館の朝ごはんという感じでした。鮭も美味しくて、ご飯が進みました。2膳半頂きました。イカニンジン、温泉*などは美味しかったです。ご飯を食べるのに良いおかずでした。 1泊ですが、ゆったりとした時間を過ごせました。幸せな時間でした。休暇を取り、旅行にいくことは大切です。また、行きたいと思いました。

About 30 minutes by car from Fukushima Station. There are shuttle buses and local buses. The large public bath and the open-air bath are great. The smell of sulfur is unique and nice. Dinner and breakfast were delicious! The staff were also nice! I'll go again!

Takayu Onsen is known for its high concentration of sulfur components. Having previously stayed at Manza in Gunma, I was excited to see just how high it was. The hotel is modern and doesn't feel like a hidden hot spring or rundown. This is an area where people's tastes may differ. The hot spring is as you would expect from a famous hot spring, Takayu. The smell of sulfur wafts through the air no matter where you are. The cloudy white water is very romantic and is the ultimate hot spring. It was difficult to get rid of the body odor for a few days after getting out of the bath, but I'm very glad I used it. The only downside is that the open-air bath is small, so it tends to get crowded during the COVID-19 pandemic.

This was our first visit as a couple. We found the hot spring to be unusual, with its milky light blue water. There is a large public bath and an open-air bath, but we recommend the open-air bath. The food does not use luxurious ingredients, but it is easy to eat and delicious. I think this is probably the result of the head chef's ingenuity. If we have the opportunity, we would like to visit again. If I could be selfish, I would think it would be great if there was a room with a hot spring attached.
