Good location, just 5 mins from hotel to metro station. Lots of food shops near hotel, especially the self-service drink machine in hotel, you can use it unlimited as you want during open time. I’m surprised the breakfast is so diverse and delicious, lots of food you can choose! I’ll be back definitely! Highly recommended!

We used the superior room with 4 families. It was a semi double bed x 2 + extra bed x 2, but there was a room size and I didn't feel particularly cramped. The meal was finished outside, so there is no restaurant use. It is a new hotel, so it is a comfortable and clean hotel. The Montreal Group also used in Osaka, but I am satisfied with the overall. Not flashy, but no problem with the minimum service, not more than necessary.

We had a lovely stay in Grand Hyatt Fukuoka for 5 days 4 nights.
Spacious room (compared with a typical hotel room in Japan) (able to comfortably move around with 2 large-size luggages opened and laying on the floor, the bathroom is roomy as well). Staff are friendly and helpful. A little note for swimmers and parents with kids - need to make reservation to swim in the indoor pool. Kids are welcomed to the pool on weekends and public holidays only also advance booking is required.
Conveniently located right next to Canal City Hakata (shopping mall with a variety of restaurants including Kirby Cafe, Itchiran) and a very short walking distance to Nakasu Yatai Yokocho (street food stalls) along Naka River.

We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights in Jan 2020. The hotel location is excellent; 7 minutes walk from JR Hakata Station and 2 minutes to the Canal City shopping mall. It only takes about 10 - 15 minutes from the airport to the hotel by taxi for about JPY2,000 (less than USD20). The front desk is very helpful and friendly. Since the hotel was only opened in Jan 2020, everything is so new. We stayed in a twin bed room with a sofa bed for my teenage child. However, you still feel spacious. The room is clean and comfortable. I like the bathroom which is equipped with shower and bath-tube. There is also a public bath which is absolutely value added. The lobby is very well designed with a touch of Japanese style. When we asked the front line staff to call a taxi for us to go to the airport on our departure, the staff not only took care of our request but also led us the way from the hotel lobby to the parking where the taxi was waiting. I call this genuine service from the heart. This is the first time I give a 5-star review to a hotel. I believe they earn it and desire it, and hopefully they can keep on with it.

Stayed alone in September 2020. The room is breakfast in a double room. First of all, it is a chic atmosphere with a wide 々 that makes you think it is a foreign hotel from the moment you enter the entrance. The rooms were 20 ㎡ in the lower category and the ceiling was high. Good point is that a small table and chair that is easy to use, free mineral water, USB outlets and cables on the head of the bed are set in advance (type C, micro B, Lightning conversion is possible). Furthermore, the WiFi environment is too fast with 190Mbps. The bathroom is almost new and perfect with the latest washlet, large bathtub and amenities, Panasonic dryer. LCD TV is about 40 inches sharp. It is a safety box that is conscious of inbound demand. Breakfast is especially recommended. In the corona cherry blossom, the main is selected and the salad and omelet are ordered by addition. The croissant of the western food plate was so sacky and very delicious. There is also a free transfer to Hakata Station and Fukuoka Airport, so it is convenient with cospa over the location if you actively use it. Great hotel that is a waste of business demand. Hotel that can be recommended as a family, couple, and destination for sightseeing purposes.

My second visit to Fukuoka, but first time trying out the Crowne Plaza, as I was in town to catch the Cirque du Soleil show Kurious in Fukuoka. I took a taxi from the airport as many travelers recommended this and the distance is quite near, as Fukuoka is not a big city. However, one could also take the subway from the airport as it’s just a couple of stop to Hakata station. The hotel is about ten minutes walk from Hakata station, may take longer if it’s your first time. Most of the staff here are very friendly and helpful, I was checked in quickly and, thr room size is very large if one compares with most Japanese hotels. Room was super clean and everything works well inside. Sleep comfort was very good as well, and the breakfast room on the lobby level was very good as well, a great combination of local and western favorites. Don’t miss a wonderful ramen shop near the hotel near Hakataekimae, it’s called Hakata Ikkousha Sohonten can can be found on Yelp! It’s where the locals go, and so much better than the overrated Ichiran. I would definitely return again in the future.

When checking in, it is a bit uncomfortable because it is an unmanned check-in. The distance is quite far from Tenjin Station, but it is easy to get around once you get used to it. (I recommend taking the bus.) There is a lack of food around, but there is a kitchen, so it is good for simple cooking. (The frying pan is not in good condition, so buy one at Daiso and throw it away when you return home.) The room is really spacious, and the bed is good, so I slept comfortably. There is a washing machine and a dehumidifier, so you can do laundry whenever you want, so if you come later, you can reduce your luggage. It is a good room for families.

I hope you don't get confused.

Room is clean, not huge but sufficient size. Great service, as I forgot my toiletry bag in Tokyo before arriving in Fukuoka and the front desk lady was able to call the Tokyo hotel and have them locate and secure the bag for me to pick up later. Offers welcome soba (21:00-23:00) and welcome drink (15:00-23:00). Also has a a Photo Booth to take welcome photos (picture quality is not great so more for fun) and a Gacha machine to dispense welcome gifts for kids. The lobby area has a huge long desk with many seatings, as well as a nice little library.

EEvaluatehotel staff are nice and helpful. We accidentally left a bag of groceries at the department store, and we only found out after three days. Hotel staff helped us to call all the places we went and eventually we got our groceries bag. Really appreciate their help so much
GGuest UserGood location. Subway station just outside the hotel

KKin Jai 123The Tokyu Stay hotel in Fukuoka is a convenient and hygienic option for travelers. It is located in a central area, making it easy to access various attractions and transportation hubs. The rooms are clean, well-maintained, and equipped with modern amenities, ensuring a comfortable stay. The hotel also prioritizes hygiene, with strict cleaning protocols and sanitization measures in place.
GGuest UserI was attracted to the good location of 2 stations by subway airport line from Fukuoka Airport to Hakata Station and about 2 minutes walk from subway Hakata Station to the hotel. This time, I wanted to go to Shimonoseki, Ogura and Yamaguchi Prefecture based in Hakata, so I had a comfortable stay. The amenities were a style that took you from the corner in front of the front desk to the room for as much as you needed, and I felt that it was a good attempt from the viewpoint of environmental protection. I want to stay again. Thank you.
PPgcresRoom size for a 3 Bedder room is still alright for us. There are lots of restaurants around the hotel. If you get to the hotel via Exit 6 from Tenjinminami Station, there is no escalator or lift and takes about 8 minutes from the exit. There is a lift from the station opposite of exit 6 though (near Diamaru) which we used when we left the hotel to go to airport.
EEmJTravelsCleanliness 🫧 3.5/5
- our room was perfectly fine, although the carpet had a few questionable stains and the shower curtain in the bathroom had definitely seen better days.. but overall clean bed and towels- fine for one night stay for us
Location 📍 5/5
- Super close to subway and train station in Tenjin area, only a few minutes walk away from lots of restaurants and shops!
Service 🤝🏻 5/5
- it was self check in which was easy enough to manage but there were super friendly staff around to help!
Amenities 🪥4/5
- Like many hotels in Japan there were a selection of free toiletries at reception, not that much choice- body towels, toothbrush, razor..
- Shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the bathroom were pretty nice! Not much surface area in the bathroom but to be expected
AAmirahGion stn exit 2. No escalator or lift at that exit. This is an unmanned hotel. Self service check in and check out using tablets. Had trouble checking in because could not find my reservation even after trying a few times. Called the operator using the link in the tablet and he helped resolved immediately.
1 laundry machine located next to the entrance. Free coffee from 7am to 8pm. Free breakfast too. Free towel and toileteries. Only 1 lift but I never had to wait long. No room cleaning service even if stay more than 1 night but can return and replace towel. I stayed 7 nights and got nothing to complain except the bidet in toilet not functioning.
WWaiThe hotel is relatively new and cater to business travellers and tour groups. It is clean and check-in was a breeze. The beds were super comfortable. But i I have 2 complaints: Parking is expensive at ¥1,700 per night, and the rooms were very small, when we open our luggage we have to ”overcome” obstacles to mover around the room
TTravelholicsThe location is good as it connected to a sizable shopping mall. The room is decent small but there was very poor sound proof. The musical fountain next to the hotel with loud volume awoke us every 10am in the morning. On the last day of our stay in 7am. The couple next door were having noisy adult exercise… bang bang bang… to the wall between our room was sucks. We heard their yelling and breathing clearly all thru the time. We didnt take any photos from the room…Its really a terrible experience for our stay….n we will not come again..
GGuest UserThe location was really good because it was about a 5-10 minute walk from Hakata Station and Canal City. It wasn't in an alley, so I wasn't scared even if I went in late at night. Most of all, the hotel staff were very kind and I could communicate in English even if I didn't know Japanese.
