Had a power outage which affected all the electricity and Water within the Veramar, this lasted from around 19 :00 until lunch6the next day. Spent the whole night in total darkness, no lights within the stairs or hallway people were walking up and down in total darkness. The Fire protection was also down but the management team left everyone im their rooms in danger, if there was a Fire!! Management actually started to hand out T lights!! Completely unacceptable. All my food in the fridge was wasted and could not wash or go to the toilet, only compensation offered was a free breakfast 🤣. Still waiting for a response from management. Poor customer service

Stayed at the Veramar aparthotel for 2 nights - October 5th-6th - when checking in the girl on reception was very friendly and allowed us to check in early as our room was available. The room was of a good size- very clean and well stocked with toiletries etc- they provided like a travel pack with toilet brush/toothpaste and comb which i thought was a nice touch. The pool is a good size- only down fall was that people were putting there towels on beds early in the morning and heading off - other guests then couldnt use the beds. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk away from the beach so the area is nice and quiet . The roof top Bar is nice but too pricey - maybe reduce your prices and encourage more visitors to use the bar.

Iv stayed here a total of 3 times. My first 2 trips were excellent, nothing bad to say, but this trip was terrible. The first day I checked in there was a very strong smell of bleach, we left the room and went out for the day, returned that evening and the smell of bleach was gone but the smell of sewage was now in the room. Obviously they tried to mask the smell of sewage with bleach , we didn't complain about it at that point we just left it hoping it woukd go but the next evening the smell.was back so we complained and we were told mantinence would come and check it out, they never did. The shower would constantly get clogged up, and you have to wait 20 mins for the water to do down the drain. Sometimes black dirt would come up the drain while you were showering. It was obviously a plumbing problem that was going on. But I stayed a total of 12 nights and had to put up with the smell of sewage every night. Even though we complained a total of 3 times, nobody came by to check on the problem. I think I will be shopping around fuengerola for my next stay very disappointed because it's great location also.

Really nice hotel in great location close to alot of the main areas, apartment was clean and had a great view of the mountains from my balcony, staff were friendly and helpful, bakery across from hotel is so tasty great for pastries/breakfast

The hotel is in a good location for the beach and restaurants/bars. Great bakery across the road. We had a 2 bedroom apartment for 4 of us and it was roomy with 2 bathrooms & lovely white towels. Clean although fairly basic for 4* rating. No mirrors other than in bathrooms, shower drain needed cleaning as it overflowed the shower tray and flooded the bathroom whilst showering, cheap plastic chairs & table on balcony. The staff were great, nothing was an effort and always had a smile.

Pleasantly surprised by this lovely hotel.Very clean and pleasant room overlooking the pool.Short walk from the beach,train and bus station.Nice bakery right across the road and a small supermarket .Staff very pleasant and helpful . Would certainly stay here again

Fantastic hotel, spotlessly clean rooms, friendly helpful staff, location is amazing with beach nearby, a supermarket on the corner and just a short walk into the centre of Fuengirola where there is a vast array of high standard bars & restaurants.

O hotel é bem localizado e anda-se pouco para se chegar a praia, além de ter opções próximas de supermercado, pastelaria e restaurantes. Recepção, dou parabéns a Mirabel, sempre simpática e disponível a ajudar. Quanto a limpeza, achamos péssima!!! Chegamos depois das 16h e precisamos pedir para limparem o apto novamente pois tinha um cheiro desagradável e quase não conseguíamos ficar dentro. Essa limpeza só foi realizada no dia seguinte. De qualquer forma, nos dias que se seguiram a limpeza continuava muito a desejar. A impressão que tenho, que entravam tiravam o lixo, trocavam as toalhas e só. Tivemos um grande incomodo também em relação ao nosso box, a água não escoava. Por diversas vezes falamos na recepção sobre isso, até que nos disseram que era a caída da água que demorava a escoar. Não é verdade, notava-se nitidamente que o box estava totalmente entupido, passamos os 6 dias tomando banho em um box que parecia piscina de criança e o pior que se eu não o varresse antes do banho, parecia que estava na beira do mar, visto o tanto de areia que tinha na chão. Enfim, tenho um elogio, a geladeira gelava muito bem!!!

Nice spacious hotel. However, room was disappointing. Towels were dirty with makeup stains. Utensils were also dirty - forks had dried food encrusted on them. No bowls (only plates) so bowl of cereal was impossible. No washing up items available. Just the basics we would have expected were not provided.
