Fabulous “destination” hotel…. The food was incredible (either French or Japanese degustation style menu). You could not get a better viewpoint for Mt Fuji. Advice: traditional public onsen so no tattoos but they have private baths too so happy days; a car would be helpful as the taxi service is fairly sp****; if you don’t have a car then book Taka from Native Fuji Tours (he was 10/10)… and pay the extra for a higher floor… we had one with a bath on the balcony… stunning!

Our room has Mount Fuji view, which is really nice :) - the two pictures below were taken in the room.
We also enjoyed our dinner and breakfast at the hotel! The shabu-shabu dinner allowed us to order unlimited beef, pork and veggies within 90 mins, and the hotel offers buffet breakfast with great variety of food and drink choices.
The hotel is close to both the bus stop 4 and the bus stop 6 of red/purple/green lines, so depending on where one plan to go, one can get on/off at either bus stop, with a few minute walk from the hotel. (For example, it took us about 15 mins to walk from hotel to the cable car station.)
The staff there are really friendly, with excellent services - a big thank to them!
There are two onsen areas at the hotel - one in the main building and another in the annex building. We went to the main building one, but it was a bit small and quite crowded, so the hygiene there was suboptimal. This is the only minor thing that we wish that the hotel could do better.
All in all, our stay was wonderful :)

Peacefully situated on the shore of Lake Kawaguchi in the scenic Mount Fuji area, Japanese-style hot spring hotel Kasuitei Ooya features rooms with stunning lake views, some boasting a private open-air bath. The hotel features a hot tub, massage treatments and karaoke rooms.
Guests can relax in indoor or outdoor public baths with lake views, or reserve a bath for private use for 50 minutes at a fee. They can unwind in the sauna or browse the large hotel shop. Free WiFi is available, and a free shuttle to/from the station is provided.
Rooms come with a terrace, a tatami (woven-straw) floor and traditional futon bedding. Some have an open-air hot spring bath with lake views, while all are fitted with an LCD TV with satellite channels, a mini-fridge and en suite bathroom facilities. A personal attendant ensures the guests' comfort.
Authentic Japanese cuisine with local ingredients can be enjoyed at the dining room, which presents a Japanese breakfast and a traditional multi-course dinner.
Ooya Kasuitei is a 5-minute drive from Kawaguchiko Station. It is an 8-minute drive to the scenic Fujikyu Highlands and a 25-minute drive away from the Morino-Nakano Suizoku-kan Aquarium. The Gotenba Premium Outlet is a 50-minute drive away.

We checked into Kasuitei Oya for just one night, as we were visiting Kawaguchiko and Mount Fuji en route from Tokyo to Matsumoto. The hotel sent a collection shuttle bus to the train station and was there in a flash. The staff at this hotel were excellent - they were very attentive and happy to spend time suggesting local things to visit. The room itself was beautiful with a great outlook over the lake. We booked a Western style room, which still had the traditional tatami mat area for relaxing but also had a raised Western style bed, which we enjoyed. We really enjoyed the baths and considered booking the private bath for an hour. In the end we just used the standard baths and the outside one was really lovely. I watched the full moon rise from the bath overlooking the lake - magical moment. Although you don't get a Fuji view from the baths or the room in the hotel, there is a balcony up on the same floor as the baths where you can see Fuji. The location of the hotel is brilliant - you can easily walk to restaurants and everything else you need. We spent a nice evening at a very nearby Izakaya called Cooliya bar, recommended by the hotel and a great place for some tasty plates and a couple of drinks later in the evening. We had the traditional breakfast in the morning. There were a lot of dishes within the breakfast - beautifully presented but a little bit too much food for me in the morning, with some of the dishes a bit on the experimental side for us! Overall, a great stay and would recommend.

This is my first Oedo Onsen Monogatari (Itoen Hotel has 44 times in 27 locations). It was triggered by watching fireworks in Fuefuki City and prefectural discount. There were some good points. First, I was handed a cart at the front door when I arrived. I was able to carry my heavy luggage to my room with ease. There is no falsehood in the catch of the net advertisement ”luxury meals and hot springs”. Seats were assigned at reception. There are many kinds (alcohol is extra charge). dinner. If you choose hoto, it will take 30 minutes to boil and finish eating. 90 minutes is plenty, but I missed the ice cream. hot spring. There was a sign saying that the water quality is the same as Gero Onsen. There is a rare wine bath. The sauna is available, but the open-air bath is small and the view is disappointing. The room. When you make a reservation, request ”a room on the upper floor as much as possible”. It was a room on the 5th floor of the East Building. 7 stories. In the east building, the quadruple room faces south and the single room faces north. Japanese style room. The size was very normal, but there was a wide edge. If you want to watch the fireworks, we recommend a room facing south in the East Building. The room key was given for the number of people (2 people), not for the number of rooms (1). The sound of the air conditioner was also quiet. Also, although the number of outlets is small, I was impressed that there was an extension cord. No sweets in the room. The biggest drawback here is that ”WiFi can only be used in the 1st floor lobby” (it was also connected in the 2nd floor cafeteria directly above). I can't believe a hotel these days doesn't have wifi in the room. The accommodation fee was 29,956 yen for two people. I think that the overall evaluation is B+ to A-.

I welcomed me and checked in. The room felt a bit old, but it was spacious and comfortable. Wi-Fi is also easily connected. The bath on the 7th floor is a men and women replacement system, and only one open-air bath. The inner bath is quite large and on the 7th floor, so when you are on the bathtub, you can see the bird flying in front of the window. There was no open-air bath in this inner bath, but the window is half open with wet water, and you can take a half body bath (a hot spring with a little hot water). Another bath has an open-air bath and the large bath is large. At dinner, the person in charge of the restaurant was very kind. Breakfast was a buffet, with a lot of mushroom soup and * miscellaneous rice. I think it is the same restaurant person in charge of the same restaurant last night, but it is clean as soon as it spills a little in the Viking area, and the customer is essential to wear masks and vinyl gloves I was able to eat with peace of mind. It was a reasonable plan, but it was a satisfactory stay.

The front desk was very good. Although it is clean, I think the room part is good to say first, but the bathroom is a good level to say outside. First of all, the first impression that entered the room was the smell of the toilet and the toilet of the old man's home. 1 I thought it was a drainage slug because it was a room next to the front desk on the floor, but I used the toilet 2 times during my stay for one night, but after that, the smell is clearly reduced. Well, this time, the mold smell came out on the whole, but the mold of the shower curtain is not an evaluation object because it is not possible to do it to some extent. However, it is different about the stool smell. The fact that the smell can be reduced by running water is that the cleaning is insufficient and the actual thing remains, or if you use the room that you haven't used for a while, you will check in, but you will not flow at that time It's either. It's nice that the bathroom is large, but honestly, I hesitated to enter at first because it smells like nursing specifications. There are many screws and metal fittings exposure, such as the help handle or the step attached, so it smells filthy if you don't wash it with a lot of nerves. I didn't like to put hot water in the bathtub, so I thought I would finish it in the shower, and if I looked at the bathtub, I would like to flow lightly, and the hair shrinked in the middle of the front. What about a hotel that is inferior to the private room with the key of the manga cafe. To be honest, the trouble increases, but it was better to sleep at the manga cafe in kamiahara about 5 minutes by car from here, and to take a bath at the national mother hot spring or Kusatsu hot spring (the public bath in Kofu city) in the morning. Ah, when I went around 8 in the morning, I was quite noisy when I came in to the office behind the front desk and chatted. There was no problem with Wi-Fi. Certainly the radio waves are weak, but they were sufficient stability and speed for contact and search. And the problem peculiar to the universal room is the equipment side. Because it is assumed to be a assistance, it should be given up to some extent, but there is no table including the luggage stand, no closet, ballpoint pen and notebook, and it is usually equipped It was like an elementary school chair without a cushion, so it was painful to be honest. If you are a normal type of room, you won't have to be bad enough, so I'm going to say, ”it's better to avoid universal as much as possible.” However, it is necessary to be vigilant around because it may be thought that ”if it is a person who is a yosukesuke, it is good like this”. If you pay the same amount, you will receive the same service It is natural that you are qualified, and I have prepared a room where wheelchairs are put in, so I feel that the other is different. Can a decent ”service” be done to a person who thinks that it is good to differentiate the service in the physical condition? Is it ”natural” that people with physical disorders are placed in a filthy environment? I thought I needed to rethink what I needed to do as a job to get the price, not to be customer-first or such a rubbish.

The hotel is pretty nice with a very nice hot spring and a nice comfy bed. Cons are that the interior is slightly worn and the toilet has some slight smell, probably due to the age of the hotel. The common hot spring interior area also has a fairly strong smell which I didn’t experience in other Dormy inns.

The best of the best, I really think it is one of the best hotels in Jiafu. The hotel service is very good, whether it is a few people traveling, I think it is very suitable, and the room is also very high-end and very clean. The hot spring is also very refreshing.

About 10 years ago, when I stayed at Toyoko Inn in front of Himeji Station, I also made a membership card with a face photograph for 1500 yen. However, I also decided to keep my luggage at the time of the stay, and since then, I decided not to use Toyoko inn. However, I had to stop at Kofu because of my work, and I stayed for 10 years this time. First of all, the check-in was set up from 16 o'clock, and despite the corona ridge, about 10 people were waiting in the lobby until 16 o'clock. On the unit bus, I was surprised at the small toilet seat in the toilet, tired of the shower curtain smelling, and at night I was not sleeping with the loud sound of the wall clock in the room and removed the battery. I instruct people in the company to take other hotels. I will not use it for a while again. APA, Richmond, Alpharwan, etc. are more comfortable. By the way, the south exit of Toyoko-in Kofu Station is used for isolation of corona infected people.

Excellent
AAkiraI traveled with my mom since she came to visit and hasnt been to the area, it's easily the best service I've ever received - the owner is incredibly friendly and helpful and the property is absolutely gorgeous. I definitely plan on returning in the future, perhaps yearly for a getaway. Thank you so much for the delightful stay!
GGuest UserDespite 12/29, I was able to stay at a reasonable price. It has a history of nearly 100 years and is called ”Kofu Guest House” and I learned that it is a hotel selected as the venue for Shogi title battles. The welcome of all the staff who feel hospitality is very impressive. The service that carries luggage to the room is not seen very much recently, and I am impressed that it is a hotel representing the long-established Ishiwa. The room is normal, but there is a coffee machine and it is a nice service. Dinner was able to enjoy Koshu beef grip, shabu-shabu, steaming, lava grilling and Koshu beef. The seasoning is good and the volume is also good. For breakfast, you can choose white rice or Koshu beef beef bowl. I want to eat gutsri rice from the morning, I choose white rice. The people around me were almost beef bowl. I was expecting breakfast because the dinner was good, but I was betrayed by my expectations. Hoto is good, but I think those who choose white rice will be disappointed because other okazu are too poor. I don't think it's the menu that the same chef thought. Is the beef bowl costly and the wrinkle came out of the okazu? If you choose beef bowl, that okazu is good. Isn't it better to turn the all-you-can-eat Chirimen Jaco service to breakfast at least at the dinner venue? It was a pity because the white rice was delicious. The quality of the hot springs is good and you can put them in for almost 24 hours. However, the open-air bath is small and only 2 〜4 people can enter, so if you consider time, you can take it easy for one person. I don't know the exact thing because there is no specification such as circulation, but I feel that the open-air bath is like a free-flowing bath. Hot water is poured into the indoor bath. The customer service is as good as the word of mouth of other people. I liked a pleasant greeting. Since it is in front of the illumination venue, it is perfect for watching cherry blossoms in spring, so I wanted to visit again in different seasons.
After checking in, I asked the woman at the front desk if I wanted water, but she told me to buy it from a vending machine outside the premises as there were no vending machines or shops. (This was the first time I was told there was no water in a hotel.) I went to a convenience store in the distance and bought some water, but since there wasn't a cup in the room, I got a paper cup from the lobby and went back to my room. Afterwards, in the lobby, a woman who appeared to be the landlady told other guests that there were so many paper cups just a while ago, but someone just took them all away, and now there aren't that many. What is the use of having so many paper cups? ”I guess so,” he said in a mocking tone. As expected, I couldn't keep quiet, so I asked for a glass to drink water from, and explained that it wasn't a sloppy drink, but that it was about 4 cups for the two of us. The extremely rude landlady goes out of her way to talk bad about a guest to another guest in the lobby without considering the possibility that she might be nearby (and treated her like a paper cup thief). This is the first time I've had such an unpleasant experience.
GGuest UserAiming to conquer Isawa Onsen inns, this was my first time trying out an inn. This is a small pure Japanese style inn with 10 rooms in total. The room on the second floor was a clean room of about 15 tatami mats that could accommodate about 5 people. There were futons laid out as a precaution against the coronavirus, but it was spacious. Wi-Fi was also available in the room. The stairs to the second floor are quite steep. There are a large indoor bath, a small indoor bath, and an open-air bath. Since we arrived early, we were able to use the bath for private use. I went early the next morning and was lucky to be able to use it almost by myself. Dinner was supposed to be served in the room, but since we couldn't go into the room due to coronavirus precautions, it was prepared in the next room. I had read somewhere that it was a light dinner, but there were so many dishes, the table was full, and every dish was delicious. We also had a leisurely breakfast served in our room. Since meals are served in your room, I think this is a good accommodation for those who want to spend a quiet and relaxing time with peace of mind. Please note that cash payments are accepted at the venue, so if you prefer to pay by card, we recommend paying in advance.
GGuest UserIn general, Shifeng Hotel is a well-prepared hot spring hotel, and it has all the configurations that hot springs should have, whether it is hot springs, hot spring meals or Japanese-style rooms. The hot spring meal is still not disappointing, whether it is breakfast or dinner, it is very rich. And the types of hot springs are also very rich, so it is very comfortable. The souvenir shop in the hotel is also reasonably priced. You can buy souvenirs about Mount Fuji and Ishiwa Hot Springs for about 400 yen. There are many koi in the Japanese-style courtyard. In addition, according to our observation, there is a black swan and a turtle. The hotel will provide food to feed the koi when checking in. The disadvantage is that it is a certain distance away from Shihe Hot Spring Station. Of course, most hot spring hotels have to walk for a while. It is very good as a place to take a vacation, and it is a little more convenient if you can speak Japanese!
GGuest UserWhen I arrived at the inn by picking up and dropping off from the station, the garden, pond, pine trees around the entrance of the inn were great. Kawaii Jizo also greeted me. The lobby was also surprised, the trees were used in a lot, and the wooden floors and corridors were glittering. The room is a calm Japanese room and the bath in the room is also a hot spring. Wi-Fi is also available in the room. When I checked in, the woman was happy to choose a color yukata. The open-air bath in the bath was used by Mizuho bamboo forest garden (sister house) next door, but there was no inconvenience. The hot water in the bath was a hot water of the ishiwa Onsen hot spring, and the open-air bath was quite wet, so I entered it quite slowly. The inner bath in the large bath was an ancient cherry blossom bath and it was a good bath. By the way, there was a shampoo bar, but every bottle was almost empty. I thought it would be better not to have a shampoo bar. Dinner was a venue meal and a sleeve was placed between the tables. The content of the dinner is a general inn dinner, but the sashimi of Fuji no Suke salmon in Yamanashi and the Yakimono of Fuji no Suke were delicious (Fuji no Suke made king salmon and mass ** Yamanashi Prefecture Ori It is a ginal fish). The vinegar of firefly squid is spring with the leaf taste of the tree, and tempura was spring grace such as mountain vegetables. I ate the tempura of the grape bud for the first time. The pot was not too heavy, and the dessert matcha pudding was delicious with a firm matcha taste. Nakai was quite clever. I always drink sake, so I drink and eat slowly in about 1.5 hours, but this time I finished eating in 1 hours. Breakfast was a neat Japanese food, and the soup was miso soup. The inn where the soup is served for breakfast is good for those who drink sake. Also, it was good for me 々 because various wines were sold at the store (such as local wineries that do not usually drink), and if I asked if I could pay 1000 yen for the BYO of Ishiwa Onsen hot spring I told you that I would bring it at dinner without a charge, and I would cool it. This point was very happy for my family. When the breakfast was over and returned to the room, the futon was raised and I thought it was a neat inn.
HHOI NENGTemporary reservation for one night hotel, the hotel room is very large, there is a hot spring, very old-fashioned design, because the day suddenly changed the itinerary, so booked this one, if you book in advance, you should choose other hotels.
