Our second stay at Oedo Onsen. We used to stay at Shiomisou in Niigata. For those who know what Oedo Onsen is like, it is a safe and reliable place. The rooms were renovated and clean. The aging is expected since it is a renovated old hotel. The food is also buffet style with a wide variety, and although it has a cluttered atmosphere (is this just us?), the ingredients are good and there is local cuisine as well. The hoto is especially recommended. The breakfast is almost the same as at Shiomisou. Drink bar and sweets buffet in the morning, it's heaven for children! There were also customers who were drinking beer in the morning, so it was heaven for adults too! And above all, the quality of the hot spring water is good. We were able to relax in the free table tennis and manga corner in the building. There is also a kids' corner, so children will not get bored. It was just over an hour from the western edge of Tokyo and was very reasonable. I recommend it.

When you make a reservation, request "a room on the upper floor as much as possible". It was a room on the 5th floor of the East Building. 7 stories. In the east building, the quadruple room faces south and the single room faces north. Japanese style room. The size was very normal, but there was a wide edge. If you want to watch the fireworks, we recommend a room facing south in the East Building. The room key was given for the number of people (2 people), not for the number of rooms (1). The sound of the air conditioner was also quiet. Also, although the number of outlets is small, I was impressed that there was an extension cord. No sweets in the room. The biggest drawback here is that "WiFi can only be used in the 1st floor lobby" (it was also connected in the 2nd floor cafeteria directly above). I can't believe a hotel these days doesn't have wifi in the room. The accommodation fee was 29,956 yen for two people. I think that the overall evaluation is B+ to A-.
