Balneario Pozo de la Salud ★★★

"Many positive points: - Very well located to visit the west and central part of El Hierro (the most interesting part according to me) - Nice large swimming pool - Large rooms very clean - Staff is friendly and helpful - 1 hour of sauna, turkish bath etc offered Only one weaker point: the food both for breakfast and dinner. We had taken half-pension. Unfortunatelly, a large group of hickers (more than 20 peole) was in the hotel together with us. When they arrive all together in the restaurant, the staff seems completely overwhelmed, despite they were very friendly and trying to do their best. For example: they could not bring bread, fruits, coffie or eggs fast enough for breakfast. And after the group has passed, there was nothing left. Anyway apart from this, the proposed menus a lacking a little bit of variety. However I recommand this hotel, but maybe I would take breakfast only. But note also that there are not many restaurants around : only 1 in fact."

"It is an island with Alma because its people have Alma!!! Ida Ines, her mother, the reception girl with her smile, the details of the hotel, cleaning, simple breakfast but with everything necessary.... I recommend it without any doubt and I will return without any doubt, You will never forget the stay at the hotel I assure you. And care for the animals, Pomelo is the example of it, it is that you are all wonderful!!! ♥️. It is a hotel like the island, with Alma."

"Excellent base, really glad we chose this place. The location was superb, right in La Frontera town, just a couple of blocks from the main commercial street, so plenty of restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. We had a nice 2nd floor, 1-bedroom apartment with great views out to the sea and also to the impressive mountains. The apartment was clean, bright, and spacious with plenty of doors and windows to open to let in the breeze. The kitchen was fully equipped and we used it on a few occasions to prepare meals. The sofa in the living area was not very comfortable to sit on as it was a fold-up sofa/bed – it would be nice to have a good comfortable sofa to sit on. The internet worked well, once we got the correct password, that is! The rooftop terrace was amazing, with tons of seating, nooks, and crannies to relax and enjoy the fresh air and the wonderful views. We were stoked that there was a clothes washing machine (communal and free) on the rooftop terrace. Overall we had a great stay and would highly recommend it to other travelers."

"Good view, but abandonment and dirt, furnishings, cucumbers and lack of cleaning, the outdoors disappointed, it's a pity that it's very good location, the next time I don't stay even if I'm given it, it's a great pity. I would recommend you to close a season and improve it. "

"Small hotel, arranged in the local Canaria’s style. The rooms are in different size and decor, some of them with balcony and sea view / far away/. It’s clean everywhere and the staff is attentive and helpful. The hotel doesn’t offer the 24-hours reception. The access to the room and check-in process follows in internet/WhatsUp, what could be slightly absorbing and irritating. The breakfast is available at the mutual table in the dinning area. Anyway, we are rating this stay as interesting and with good memories."

"I was surprised by the tranquility and beauty of the place with spectacular views of the sea. Excellent treatment from all staff. 100% recommended The only thing I give a negative point is the poor lighting outside the place because it is a very beautiful environment to walk around at night but due to the poor lighting it was not possible. To the rest a score of 10. Thanks for everything"

Hotel Ida Inés ★★
"5 star experience from enquiring about making a booking until the door was opened for me as I left the hotel. The staff treated me like a king, the room was very quiet with a balcony overlooking El Golfo Valley, bed was very comfortable, walk in power shower with plenty of very hot water, refrigerator, tea making and a wake up call from all the cockerels in El Golfo valley. My picnic consisted of a large bottle of water, fruit juice, baguette, cakes, fruit and an egg."

Apartamentos Los Verodes ★
"The main issue we had was noise. People on the floor above walking around in shoes on the tile floor was really noisy in our apartment. Whilst the tiles look lovely, they are completely impractical. And it wasn't just the apartment directly above us, it was any of the apartments on the floor above. The apartment itself was nicely furnished, and the high ceiling made it feel very spacious. The location on the edge of town is great (the town itself is great), and there's plenty of parking either directly in front, or just outside on the street. When we stayed there was quite a bit of rain, and the apartment was quite damp - it's obviously not designed for winter. But presumably most of the time it's fine. But the noise meant very poor sleep experience - I would only go back if I was guaranteed a top floor apartment."

"For me it's enough. What isn't it? a luxury hotel. It's not your destination if you look for that. I'd hire the photographer, make magic. What is it? This is very simple rural houses, with a small swimming pool. There is a accumulated powder in some places, ains, as easy as passing a trap and ... the bath was clean, the kitchen tb. It is not the best, but there are worse things. There are cucumbers in the waste, don't leave waste in the room, buy insect. The hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable."
