We stayed for 1 night in October. The check in process was quick and easy, and the staff couldn't have been more helpful! We were shown the room, the features explained and how to contact someone if we needed help. The bed was massive and very comfortable, the whole hotel was spotless and the breakfast delicious (especially loved the pancake machine!) Would definitely stay agin in the future..

Very clean room. Fresh linen and quality complimentary toiletries in the bathroom. Tranquil stay. Staff are excellent! The full English breakfast was freshly made and served well. Cafe on sight serves delicious food. Beautiful grounds and a great fishing spot. Animal friendly. Will definitely return. Great value for money!

A lovely autumn break. Fantastic accommodation on a beautiful estate, staffed by the most lovely people who make you feel home from home, and who more than happy to go the extra mile to ensure your stay is above and beyond expectation. The Lighthouse is a great place to stay and superb destination in its own right.

Wir waren hier 4 Tage und waren sehr zufrieden. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, es war hier überall sauber, das Zimmer war liebevoll eingerichtet, die Betten waren bequem. Es war ein Genuss in dem warmen Wasser im Schwimmbad zu schwimmen.

This is a beautiful hotel in a really stunning setting. It was originally a working farm, but has been transformed into a modern hotel, whilst retaining so many original features of interest. From the warm welcome, to the comfortable and well equipped rooms, everything had been catered for.

We had one of the converted Stable rooms and it was beautiful and spotless. The grounds and surrounding woods were incredible and we took a walk both days. Breakfast was delicious - good quality eggs, bacon and sausages and loved the pancakes! Rowena and the team were so welcoming, kind and friendly. Highly recommend and look forward to staying again

Stunning accommodation in an equally stunning location. It’s one of the most tranquil places I have ever stayed. That’s Frelimo a very experienced traveller. Add to that the staff are incredibly attentive and the onsite cafe fully caters for celiacs with amazing cakes and drinks. My partner was in heaven.

We spent a wonderful week at The Lighthouse in a family suite. We loved the cleanliness, space and comfort but it was the little details we appreciated most. Bottles of water every day, good quality teas and coffees and great fat pillows ! We were lucky with the weather and could use the brilliant play area and enjoy walks across the surrounding fields and feed the ducks on the lakes. Breakfast was fabulous and texting the order and time the evening before worked well. The children especially enjoyed the pancake machine. Thanks to Rowena and Ferdinand - you were brilliant.

Excellent visit- everything you need for a short stay. Lovely hosts, stunning grounds, well appointed clean rooms. Hosts are very attentive taking a personal interested in your stay. Lovely breakfast to set you up for the day. Rooms have all that is required- clean, tidy and comfy.
