My sister and I had a nice relaxing stay here. The Good - Fresh coffee & dainties in the lobby. - Theres a wide variety of wildlife to see. We even had a monkey make a pit stop the one day. - Our room was clean, a/c worked, and the beds/pillows were comfortable. No issues with our room at all. - Lots of beach chairs available and the beach/bay is amazing. You can snorkel right in the bay, so bring your gear. The pool is nice too. - The alcoholic drinks & juice are both really good! They have a list of drinks for you to try. I enjoyed the variety, and you can get them without the alcohol. - The cleaning and restaurant staff were friendly. The Bad - They would only lend you mini golf clubs if you gave them your passport or drivers license, luckily I had my DL and went back to our room to grab it. No one cleans off the minigolf course. So it was just ok. - The only nighttime entertainment that we seen was the disco. Which is just a screen, lights and music at the beach bar. The only people there are staff. If you want a drink you need to go back to the bar in the lobby. Was a little strange. - We're used to taking in a few activities during the day (yoga, bingo, ect..). They have them listed on a board but when you go, there is no one there to facilitate them. We tried several times, but never had any luck. We didnt see any activities happening our entire stay. - The sand fleas! Make sure you take bug spray. As a bottle will cost $15-20US at the gift shop - At night off the dock are where the barracudas hang out. There is no signage, so we had to warn other travelers not to hang their feet in the water. The Ok - generally, the food was just ok. We went early, along with everyone else, just to get a seat. We usually ate lunch at the beach bar, it has a limited selection but was good. (except for the buns, they were always rock hard.) - We had to go to the front reception more then once because our key cards stopped working, it was a mild inconvenience. Having said that the front desk staff were not always the friendliest. It was hard to get a towel from them at all, never mind exchange for a new one. - they don’t have wait staff, so you grab your own drinks. That wasn’t an issue for us, but for some it might be. - Wi-Fi is best in the lobby and sitting area just outside of it. We didn’t have Wi-Fi in our room. Great if you're looking to unplug. We're easy-going travellers, so this was a nice relaxing trip for us.
