Our five points go the staff for their attitude, efficiency and friendliness: at the reception desk, in the breakfast room, in the restaurant or cleaning the rooms. Excellent location. Nice, clean and spacious rooms. Good breakfast. On the downside: clubhouse not up to par as hotel restaurant of this level (see my restaurant review), half of the parking lot constantly taken by some pretentious commercial activity, the bed was not stable enough for a box spring, noisy cars and motos in the streets nearby, etc. But all by all, we extended our stay with three nights, which says enough ...

Our stay was an experience not to be missed. We arrived late and had a rather small room. When Jonathan the owner Manager saw our disappointment he arrived for us to be transferred to a suite the next day. It was absolute luxury. Jonathan's attitude was so helpful at all times, as only an owner manager can be. All staff were friendly, and helpful and made our stay one of the best boutique hotel experiences we have had anywhere in the world. The swimming pool was a good size, the breakfast was varied and substantial and the Spa well appointed. Love to go back!
The Bastide du Clos has found its happiness in the heart of a vineyard and shares it with you as this exclusive fascinating house casts a spell on you. The Southern light floods its guest rooms and suites refurbished in contemporary lines and tones. Its characterful decor expresses the bare stone of the former wine cellar. You quickly slip into the habit of wonderful idleness sitting by the magnificent infinity pool at the foot of the vines of the Clos des Roses winery. A soft name in homage to a sea and to a land of fruits and flowers.

Where do I start, let’s start with the good and keep it short. Free and convenient parking practically at the door to your apartment, the wifi worked well and the bed was reasonably comfortable. There was a little outside garden area with a table and some chairs but the garden area didn’t really look that inviting The staff at the office were friendly. The bad, it is a longer list. When you arrive at the area where the reception office is the area around it looks like an abandoned shopping centre on a council estate with a building that looks like it could have four or five shops, cafes etc but instead is just an empty shell with some of the leaves from outside scattered on the floor and the concreted area out the front of these abandoned shops and reception area is just a faded painted concrete slab. The apartment is really where things go downhill, while opening the door was easy locking it from either the inside or outside with the key which was the only way to lock it was near impossible and I had to call reception to come and help and she showed me how it works and you have to “force” the lever to a 12 o’clock position and then turn the key and after a few tries it did lock but each time I went to lock it I had the same problem over and over again which really shouldn’t be the case locks should work. The apartment is a decent size but so poorly laid out, there is an L-shaped main room with a trundle sofa which I think converts to two single beds at one end of the room and a table and four plastic chairs at the other end with a TV in between. There were also a couple of little tables. There was also a freestanding wardrobe in one corner. The main problems with the room was the lack of lighting with just one ceiling bulb to cover the whole room and while it wasn’t a huge room it needed more lighting. There was a lamp near the sofa but it wasn’t much use. Off to the side was a very steep staircase though I am not sure it would legally qualify in many parts of the world as a staircase and is more of a ladder/staircase and under the stairs were some mops and brooms and a clothes airer thing. Off the main room was the small kitchenette which was pretty typical of the setup you get in this type of accommodation. It had the usual, a small under the counter fridge/freezer, sink, two burner cooktop, microwave and range hood but the only source of light in the kitchen area was the light on the rangehood. There were plates, glasses and cutlery for four people though some things only had three while others had five. A couple of pots and a pan but really no utensils except a strange group of about 6 items and it looked like as things go missing which I guess they do they are not replaced. The sink had a wall mounted dishwashing liquid dispenser but it was attached to the wall and didn’t reach the sink which really defeats the purpose. The bathroom and separate wc were off the kitchen and if you left the door open you did get a little light from th

The hotel is in a fairly quiet back-street in Saint-Raphael, close to the border with Frejus. It is less than half a kilometre from Saint-Raphael Valescure station and a similar distance from the main beach in Frejus, and the nearby seafront has a very big selection of restaurants, snack bars, ice cream shops and other amenities. The hotel itself is clean, peaceful and has good air conditioning for when the temperature is high (as it was during my stay). Breakfast is included, with a good selection of cereals, bread, croissants, sliced meats etc. I had no problems during my stay, so had no reasons to speak to reception, but each of the receptionists on duty were cheerful and pleasant to speak to. The main door is locked between 12 noon and 3pm, and again after 8pm, but the card which unlocks your room door also unlocks the front door to get in during those times. The only minor criticism that I would make is that there was no wardrobe in my room. However, there was a rack to hang clothes on, and a shelf to store smaller items, so it was possible to keep my clean clothes separate from the ones I had used.

Exceeded expectations - booked through *********** Excellent location, stones throw away from the train and bus stations and ideally located to the marina and some very nice restaurants and the beach. High standards of housekeeping, comfortable beds. The hotel have a family run feel to the business - all very polite and courteous. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again.
On the seafront, Mercure Saint-Raphaël Centre Plage has direct access to a sandy beach. The hotel offers rooms and suites: street-facing or with a sea view. The natural colors of the decor, incl. terracotta inspired by the red rocks of the Esterel massif, ensure a peaceful stay. Need to organize a meeting? We have two modern meeting rooms. Between meetings, enjoy an inspiring view of the Mediterranean.

This is our 8th year at your hotel and very much enjoyed our stay.We found the staff to be helpful and accommodating. We also enjoyed the breakfast which catered for all tastes.Although the sea view rooms have been double glazed we found that the noise from outside late evening sometimes interrupts sleep. The lady in charge of the breakfast room was very pleasant and a vast improvement than last years incumbent.Susanne (not sure of spelling)was also very friendly and always greeted you with a smile. Hope to see you all next year.

Hotel on the port of Santa Lucia and right next to the Saint Raphaël convention center. Walk between 20 and 30 min. to access the city center but entirely doable. Free parking until May 31 all around the hotel. Lots of restaurants, Spar supermarket nearby. Very good superior room with sea and port view. Complete breakfast with good products. Hotel recommended for its calm too.

The rooms are very dirty, lots of hair from the previous guest. The mattresses have yellow stains, there are also hairs from previous guests. No matching mattress protector. There is smoke in the hallway because people are smoking there. The bathroom is moldy, dirty, black hairs everywhere and the toilet seat is torn off. In the two rooms that were inhabited.

Lleez_1407We stayed at hotel Cap Riviera for 3 nights. The location is amazing, just in front of the sea and the hotel itself has fairly nice, clean rooms. You can have breakfast and dinner there, the breakfast being especially nice but a bit expensive. However, the main problem that made me choose 3/5 is that the first day we arrived, we were not that welcomed, they ran out of towels, so we had half the towels we were supposed to get and they were of small size and the floor was still wet when we arrived. Apart from this the hotel was good and I do recommend it for the amazing location 💖
GGuest UserThank you very much to the team for your welcome, kindness and professionalism. A huge shock on the customer who does not respect the work of household staff, technical by breaking the telecommands or burning the ground with cigarettes or swallowing and sliceing the floor covers with chichas or other..... c is really sad this lack of education and civilization n forget that you are not the only to borrow the rooms and that others come after you also think of household women !!! Let's return to the good breakfast at the top quickly re-provided desinfected tables as soon as the client leaves them and all in the image of managers who are very human, unlike others who are ghosts elsewhere. The hotel is a very good hotel and is very good at the hotel.
Stayed for three nights. A thick layer of dust coated everything. Advised reception who sent maintenance man to check. Was not resolved for the whole stay yet asked a couple of times. Plug sockets fell out of the wall leaving wires exposed. Shower in bath in a very small space but the only way that you can stand under the water is to stand with you feel on the slopes of the bath sides. You can not stand with your feet flat. It was extremely slippy and dangerous and had to hold on with one hand at all times. There was no wi fi at all in the rooms. The senior reception lady , long blknd hair was so rude. We asked to leave luggage and despite there being a locked luggage room she made me put it in the office with an open door where people passing it could see. The staff member whe we collected it was very confused as to why it was there. Waited at reception f9r ages, she is in the office on social media. She did not explain how to get into pools or exit to beach or towels. Added breakfast without asking us. Only discovered this on checkout! However, some other staff at other times were so helpful pleasant and polite. Location is great, five minutes from lots of lovely bars and restaurants. Thank you to the lovely maintenance man who sorted the plug sockets. He took the tome to answer some questions that that lady on reception shrugged her shoulders at even though he d8dnt speak much English took the time to use a translation app. Parking is paid and if the hotel don't have any, parking nearby can fill up and you might have to walk 10 mins to car park. We didn't eat. We tried to have a drink but gave up after waiting 15 mins whilst staff that said they were coming stacked plates and didn't serve us. A shame as service elsewhere in the town was amazing. An absolutely beautiful town, and short taxi to saint Raphael is worth it
