Fresh fish from Lake Zurich with vegetables and potatoes and a local white wine. We were satisfied. Friendly, very friendly and courteous service. Ambience: pleasant. Price/performance: good. Recommend: definitely.

The best hotel on the lake. Our umpteenth visit because it has the best views of the lake and is so quiet. Staff were very friendly and helpful, with nothing too much for them. Wonderful stroll on the boardwalk into delightful Rapperswil, where the wild birds and fish you will see will delight, alongside the lake and mountain vista. Thanks to Eva, Katia and the team who probably are the hardest working team you will find. The restaurant, where we ate twice, is excellent, and we've written a separate review for it.

The hotel itself has seen its best days, but is still recommended. Although the room facilities and infrastructure need an update, the hotel and its restaurant can be recommended. The staff were so incredibly friendly and accommodating, something we have rarely experienced. This accommodation thrives on the staff, who do their best to make you feel welcome and comfortable. The food and service in the restaurant were excellent! A must-visit restaurant! The location of the hotel is sensational anyway.

Our fifth visit and superb. Excellent room, very clean, views of Lake Zurich of course, superb restaurant food, great walking distance access to the beautiful city of Rapperswil and super service. Many thanks to Anna Mora, Catalina Zechner, Loredana Bernado, Romain and Gunther, for making our stay so wonderful - nothing was too much for them and they made us feel very welcome. We will be back. The service and food at this restaurant is first class. My husband and I enjoyed every moment from appetizer to dessert and the view is unbeatable. Not to mention that I have Celiac disease and cannot eat gluten. Our waiter knew what I could and couldn't eat and assured me I would be happy with my meal. Stop by for lunch or dinner (especially on a sunny, warm day) and you will not be disappointed.

Good food in a really beautiful place right by the lake. Unfortunately, the service was pretty terrible. It took ages just to take our order, and the restaurant was not at all full. The two waiters who served us were unfriendly and sometimes even rude. Every time the waiter came by, he tried to sell us a product we didn't want. In short, hospitality at zero. What a pity!

I don't give it a 5 because I haven't tried the menu. After a long day wandering around, I was looking for somewhere to have a beer in Hurden and stumbled upon this wonderful terrace with a view. Upon asking, they informed me that it was just a restaurant but they took pity on me and very kindly served me a Klosterbier. And unexpectedly they also served me a tapa! The views over the lake are beautiful and the staff is very friendly and very professional. A place where the waiters still wear white gloves and place your napkin on your lap. There are few left like that. Grateful!

For the first time in a long time, we were at the Rössli - a wonderful location right on the lake, quiet, shady and relaxing after a day of sailing! Fish is the order of the day: perch, trout (first class!), with fine side dishes such as spinach, saffron risotto, potatoes, the best craftsmanship! And a bottle of Schwarzenbach from Meilen - that's just lovely! Also worth mentioning is the very fresh bread and a great olive oil. We would have liked a little more spirit, activity and warmth from the service. The lady did everything correctly and was friendly - a little more commitment is definitely possible :-). All in all, a great evening - see you soon! NO HOTEL REVIEW
