Hey there! I recently stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn and wanted to share my experience. Unfortunately, I had a few issues during my stay. Firstly, they randomly charged me $255 without any explanation, and it took quite a bit of effort to get that money refunded. Additionally, they provided ashtrays and smoking areas, but later I found out that guests couldn't actually smoke there. It was quite misleading. Another hassle was that I had to get multiple key cards because they kept deactivating. On the bright side, I must mention that the front desk staff, cleaning staff, and food staff were all super friendly! They definitely made my stay a bit more pleasant. It's always nice to encounter welcoming and helpful staff members. However, I have to be honest and say that the food was not up to par. I found it to be quite disappointing. To top it off, after I checked out, I noticed an unauthorized hold for $430 and another charge for $400. The assistant manager assured me it was a mistake and that the general manager, Heather, would resolve it. However, it's been four days and I still haven't been able to reach Heather or receive a call back even though she has been at the hotel almost evey day. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise against using debit/credit cards at this hotel unless you enjoy surprise charges. It's important to be aware of these issues before making a reservation.
