Quality Inn

Cigarette in shower. Hotel clerk indicated manager would call me about this, but he never did. Sketchy characters around, staying in hotel. Didn’t really feel safe as we were being watched in parking lot with trailer and car with luggage for cross country move.

This was one of the nastiest places we’ve ever checked into. We came to Franklin for the night due to my husband having back surgery the next morning and our drive from home is 1 1/2 hours. Mold on the heat / air unit. The freezer area of the mini fridge, the ice was YELLOW .. the phone was from another century long ago and covered in nasty. The room stunk, mold in the corner of the tub, torn carpet and a broke down nasty sofa.. etc We took the key back to front desk and left hunting somewhere else to stay the night.

ROACHES… first thing when I went into my room it had a horrid smoke smell, and then I looked at the tv stand and there were German roaches crawling all over it. IMMEDIATELY checked out and asked for a refund. I couldn’t believe it when I seen them.

The hotel is old and in need of update. Both my husband and myself’s back hurt from the bed. Room was clean but had a funny smell, we carry L Lysol with us so that took care of the smell. The gentleman that checked us in was nice. Breakfast was a piece of fruit, cereal, danish. Sign on coffee pot said Out of Coffee,

Beds comfortable, rooms about 85% clean. Check in guy rude made me wait (i was only one there) he was on "his" computer.

Clean room, traveling with our golden retriever so this place was decent price for night sleep.

Upon arrival i had to qait and call hotel to get access. Then i was given a room that wasnt cleaned. After going back for another room i was given cards that didnt open the door. So i had to go back for another key. Id had been driving for quite some time with my family to have to endure with this. Management needs to be on top of other employees this was unacceptable

The room is dated looking but they have made some upgrades to it, including cushion close drawers so you don’t hear your neighbors banging them and new shower tiles. It does have some other flaws. The flooring threshold wasn’t done right. They used too small of a metal piece so it doesn’t tuck in the carpet and the tile. That’s a super cheap and easy fix. The cabinet that hold the fridge is missing screws on the bottom hinge. Also a super cheap and easy fix. It’s a little on the smaller side as well. However, the room was clean and well stocked (more than I can say for a different hotel I stayed at in Franklin). The water pressure was great and it has an adjustable shower head so you get the stream you want. There’s also tons of pillows to chose from (8 for 2 beds) and the beds were even pretty comfortable. Also, the heater/air conditioner turned on and adjusted the temperature quickly, unlike other hotels. Every staff member I talked to from the front desk to the cleaning staff was super friendly. Check in and check out was quick and efficient. Also, they actually had Covid safety protocol hot breakfast! After all the granola bars and muffins that have been passed off as food, I can’t tell you how nice it was to have a hot meal. They have muffins, yogurt, cereal, and such available but they also had microwaveable individually wrapped Jimmy Dean sausage, egg, and cheese breakfast biscuit sandwiches. It’s such a simple thing but it made my morning.
