Hampton Inn & Suites Nashville/Franklin (Cool Springs)

Nice for a stopover on a long road trip.

Hampton Inn and suites Franklin Tennessee/cool waters Nice lobby. Clean room. Love the shampoo etc dispensers wall mounted! Great breakfast. I ordered a king size room and got two queens. Which would do, so we didn’t make a fuss. Actually my reservation said double king, for some reason, but I intended to have just one King. It was booked through a third-party.

We like this hotel group. Since my husband has a gluten free diet, not voluntary, we would like to see some gluten free options for otherwise good breakfast. The TV remote was awkward to use. We like to find a program to view at the end of the day. TV screen very good.

This is one of the cleanest Hampton inns I have stayed in. The employees were very accommodating and friendly. I would definitely stay here again. Over the last few years Hampton inns have really lacked in service and cleanliness. It was a great experience staying at this location.

Hotel leadership demonstrated a completely reckless disregard for guest safety and security in responding to my Guest Assistance case, advising them that forcing guests to park in completely dark parking lots is a serious and unnecessary hazard to both pedestrians and drivers, and it promotes vehicle burglaries, which I’ve learned are common and increasing in this area.

While this hotel is clean and safe and the front desk staff are amazing, the housekeeping staff is very inconsiderate. At 7 am each morning, weekdays and weekends in July and they are SO loud in the halls, screaming down the hall to one another, playing music, singing etc. I’ve overheard them waking families with kids and small babies next door. The babies are inconsolable because of the loud noise and are now crying nonstop. The posted quiet time is until 9 am. It is not the place to stay if you have children and are vacationing in hopes of relaxing.

Kayia was the best employee they have and that’s saying a lot! Everyone at this hotel is beyond amazing and will do anything to make you feel at home and have your stay be the best it can be! Will stay here again!

We pulled in on a cross country trip and couldn't find the actual company sign on the building which is never good to start off a hotel experience. The pull up is spacious and the lobby seems to have some updating featuring a fireplace at the entrance. Staff was friendly and there were fresh cookies on a tray at the front desk. The coffee was left in the containers all day and when we tried to get some it was ice cold and disgusting. Elevators were sad and old as well as the carpeting and 1980 ceilings. Hallways have very little air conditioning so they smell nasty. There have been little to no updates done to the rooms and guest room areas. Bathroom is outdated and lighting is yuck. Soaps provided were okay. Beds meh. Room smelled musty and old. No communication regarding breakfast. Our room 426 had one tissue left, a light bulb out next to the bed and USB ports were broken also next to the bed. We had a service dog with us so for some reason we were placed on the 4th floor which was very inconvenient. Pool has some cool chairs and tables but that's it. All the bushes are dead and there was 1 towel left at 5pm. Water was clean but freezing. Again, zero effort on the guest side. The entire iron fence and gate were peeling and aged. Standard rooms have no microwave so we had to go down to the lobby and use the microwave by the front desk like college. We stayed at a Holiday Inn Express the night before and it was amazing included a microwave and was 50 cheaper. It's hard to believe Hilton would tie their name to this spot. It's embarrassing for the brand and clearly riding the wave because of the proximity to Nashville. Do not stay here. You will be disappointed and uncomfortable.

Don't stay here the GM is Crook, he steals guest money. He is very rude and talks to people like he knows it all. The other people who work here are great but the GM needs to be let go because he's a thief. Please spend your money on another hotel......
