Dated room but clean, spacious and comfortable except for the caulking around the bath tub. Such a simple thing to maintain yet such a disgusting thing to walk in on after a long day on the road. Hampton Inn, you can do better! Efficient front desk, relaxing vibe.

This Hampton inn was getting some much needed exterior painting done on our arrival. The pool was not available, stated it was being worked on. When we returned 10 days later, pool still not available. BIG disappointment is the EV charging, implying it is free, and is definitively NOT free. Both the front desk and charge point disavow any part of the process, but the explanations and wording give the impressions that it is free charging for 2 hours. I ended up getting charged $10 for each charge (an outrageous sum to begin with for the amount of charge we received). We operate a plug in hybrid, so a top off for our battery was a bonus, we thought until we discovered the charges on our card a month later. BOO Hampton Inn

We have been coming to this Hampton Inn for years to attend the Ky. Downs races. The staff has always been awesome, and the hotel is clean and neat. Normally, I would give this 5 stars with the exception of an incredibly rude manager named Crystal. I was shocked at how rude and inappropriate she was. We came with a large group, and our rooms were booked for two nights, but under different names. When we arrived the first night, we explained this to Crystal and asked if we could keep our same room for the next night. She was rude and dismissive. It would have been ok if she had been polite and explained that because the rooms were booked under different names, she couldn’t do it. Instead, she barked at us, made us leave and check back in later. We have been Hilton Honors members for decades and have never been treated so badly. Crystal needs to go.

I have stayed in Hilton chain hotels all over the world. Without a doubt, this is the most disappointing location I have ever stayed - and I’ve stayed in some rough places. The room has no USB ports - how outdated does a hotel have to be to not have a USB port? I don’t carry them anymore and I travel about 100 nights a year. The bed, I don’t even know what type or kind of mattress (or topper) was on it but I basically folded in half when I layed down. Of the 40 or so channels on the tv, 20+ popped up a notice that said the channel was scrambled and the ESPN family of channels weren’t available because the cable company they use lost the rights to them. The A/C had two temperatures - freezing cold and not at all. The Room was mostly clean and the sweet girl at the front desk was incredibly kind - would have given it one star had that not been the case. Would absolutely never stay here again and would advise anyone to find something further out and pass this up.

Well we used to travel I-65 a lot between Ohio and Alabama. We typically stay at Hilton brand hotels. Thought we had stayed here before but upon check in we realized we had not. To sum it up, it's an old tired Hampton. Carpet in entry and 1st floor hallway very worn, lots of scratches on doors and furniture etc. Room appears clean but you know what an "old room" feels like. For $161 a night, and w taxes and fees....almost $200 ( that's a discounted rate) NO.....just NO!

Worst Hampton Inn I have ever stayed at! The entire building was deteriorated. The floor in the elevator had pieces broken off. The room was filthy. The light switches were dirty, the door handle on the bathroom door had something all over it. The bathtub had a puddle of rusty water standing in it, so needless to say, we couldn’t take a shower. The bathroom floors were black around the edges. Huge cracks between the walls and the ceiling. The toilet seat was crooked on the toilet. The staff was nice, but when we told them some of the issues when checked out, all we got was an “I’m sorry”. Definitely not what I would expect from a Hilton property and I assuredly won’t stay there in the future.

This is a clean, friendly and reasonable place to spend the night. I was worried about the room being backed up to the freeway, but seriously, did not hear it at all. Extremely well insulated. Very nice place to stay. Mexican restaurant next door was outstanding.

We usually stay in Hampton Inns when traveling in the USA especially going up and down I-81 . We made it to Winchester, VA from Georgia and this was a good place to stop for the night. Convenient location close to restaurants and even a Walgreens across the street. Room was clean and comfortable and staff was friendly and helpful.

I booked through the app and it was easy and fast. I’m a Hilton’s member so I can get points for stats. The front desk staff was super nice. The rooms are very clean and large. I love their towels, they are so soft.
