Fairfield Inn & Suites Frankenmuth

Nice hotel and good location and near to the Bavarian hotel where the food at the restaurant is good.

very clean building, excellent staff and help, they respect your privacy and help you when you need it. rooms were very well kept and clean. it was a very convenient stay and we were super close to all of the shops

Stayed here with a group for a one night stopover hotel. For that purpose, it sufficed. It is an older Fairfield property and could use some updates. The bathroom was very small, and that is something that a remodel cannot update. Most of the hotel industry is now being forced to use dispense bottles in the shower. I am fine with that UNTIL I get in the shower and find that the housekeeping staff has NOT REFILLED 2 of the 3 dispensers! DO YOUR JOB thoroughly!! I was okay with the average room, but the lack of soap and shampoo really irritated me and therefore I did not leave with a positive feeling regarding this property.

As a loyal Marriott Bonvoy member (100+ nights per year) I have to say this was the WORST experience I have ever had with any Marriott property. The staff was not only unresponsive (sitting in the back room laughing and talking while I waited nearly 10 minutes to check in), they were incredibly rude. One of the very small (and getting smaller) perks of being loyal to a hotel is a simple gift of a free bottle of water upon check-in. When I asked for mine, you would think I was asking for the gold from Fort Knox when the reply from the clerk was, "No, you aren't an ambassador level, and only they are worthy of complimentary water." Really? If it was not late at night and I wasn't only staying one night, I would have left. To top it all off, when I got to my room the TV in the room didn't work. Given how poorly I was treated by the staff, I didn't even mention it. I did ask for the general manager to please call me, and to no surprise that didn't happen either. Frankenmuth is a lovely town, and there are lots of hotel options. Stay away from here!

The Fairfield is conveniently located just North of the "Downtown" area of Frankenmuth. Front desk and housekeeping staff are attentive and professional. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast was standard fare and acceptable. Prices (mid-week for us) were very fair. Definitely going back again.

This is no Westin. I would not recommend this place, however, I don’t know how many options you really have in Frankenmuth particularly if you’re using Marriott points. Bed sucks. Pillows suck. Location is good. Free parking. Although I’ve never stayed at Red Roof Inn this is what I imagine it would be like.

Only stayed here if you want to sleep in a room with bugs..Two girlfriends and I rented a room here for a girls weekend getaway. It was a horrible experience, the pool was filthy, but somehow at the same time it was way over chlorinated. The chemicals were so strong that we had to cut our time short at the jacuzzi short because the chlorine was literally burning our eyes. On top of that the Hallways and elevator smell horrid like paint. As if all of this wasn’t bad enough the room we were staying in literally had bugs crawling on the walls and furniture, upon further investigation we found a dead bug on the bed under the mattress pad. When we confronted the hotel staff with proof and pictures they stated they cannot grant a refund since there wasn’t an “infestation” but it’s perfectly fine by their standards to have their guests stay in a room with live bugs crawling around as long as it’s only a “few” in their words. They refuse to do anything unless they grant it as an infestation. Absolutely ridiculous, after spending $250 you would be think the room would be clean and at the very minimum free of bugs, but apparently their standards are very low. Needless to say we cut our trip short and left in the middle of the night. Absolutely no apology or refunds from their management. I urge you not stay here unless you want to spend an exorbitant amount of money on a room to just end up sleeping in a filthy room with bugs crawling around. Disgusting hotel with even worse management.

We stayed for our 50th anniversary and everything was clean and comfortable. The prices are quite high because they are so close to downtown Frankenmuth but all in all it was a nice place. The pool and hot tub area wasn't crowded at all and the breakfasts were decent for a hotel.
