Extended Stay America Select Suites - Fort Walton Beach

Bill, I think his name was great and so were the maintenance guy and his lovely wife. When we first arrived, we stood there for a good 5 mins before the 2 people at the front desk finished their convo and recognized us standing there. I thought we were invisible. The other staff not very friendly. Customer service is not good..ummmm Leighann and tall skinny young lady eating chicken nuggets at the desk, while customers checked in!! There always seemed to be some kind of drama happening here and we saw at least 3 cop cars pull up one night. Ratchet!!! We were just excited to get away so threw a dart and it landed on this dump!!! The room did not even have a real bed, it looked like a cot with one mattress on it, there was not even one picture on the wall, the chairs looked like a grade school desk should have come with them. No good place to sit except on the bed, no curtain, no lamps and slow AF elevators. It looked like a straight up PRISON cell!!! Whoever owns this hotel should be Ashamed of themselves! They put no love or care into this place. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

Floor, bathtub, toilet, sink, all was filthy. When i made a complaint, the housekeeper found out and stood outside my door and said "all i know is that skanky a$$ b@#$% better get out of my room" I called the supposed corporate number and filed a formal complaint with nobody ever contacting me or caring. NEVER SAY HERE

For the second time this year I find myself separating from living with family and being displaced in a hotel. I have previously stayed in this hotel before but now it is under new management. India, the new main manager is absolutely amazing. She takes care of the entire hotel's needs efficiently and with kindness. They took care of every need I had especially since I was 9 months pregnant. Her and her staff, three women in particular Tabithaia, Tanisha, and Leahann working front desk, maid service, and late night desk , treated me like family. They were so kind to me even banding together and getting me a bassinet for my baby. My heart was touched since I had no one in my life to do that kind of thing for me. Thank you ESA Fort Walton, for making me and my husband feel cared for and welcome. Christmas Day we were given an apartment to live in and bring our baby home too . I have truly been blessed and Extended Stay America has been a part of this journey . I would recommend this hotel to anyone needing a place to stay, that is like home with an understanding wonderful staff. Jess

The rooms were spacious and the large fridge and cooktop were an added bonus. It was perfect for my needs. I also liked having a kitchen sink and microwave. The parking lot was well lit. The staff was very friendly and engaging.

This was better than I even expected the price was so affordable and rooms are smoke free and it was super comfy and great to be able to cook in the big plus was everything else was easy to get to store and larg bathroom and nicely laundry room and staff was great Mr Bill is a jewel he and Indiai directed and gave me info that was well needed

India was a great sales representative.very professional and helpful . She made me feel welcomed and at home . I would recommend extended stay America to anyone and recommend that India be move up to management!!! Very satisfied!!

After circumstances forced us to start over in this life, we came to learn that Extended stay America was a great place to do just that, start over. We are able to cook, receive mail, and we are close to work. Plus the staff here is just absolutely amazing. Bill the GM is so kind and hospitable, knowledgeable and helpful, he’s just a great person. India is the receptionist and she is just the best, bless her heart as many times have I lost my key. She’s always been there, every package, every “hi” from the desk. She’s just a joy to see every day. Even the maid, Leanne, and the maintenance man, Richard, or just the two coolest people ready to help us out with anything we need as well. Because of the people here, it’s probably one of the best stays we’ve had at a hotel in a very long time, so thank you stuff at Extended stay in Fort Walton. You guys are the best. I&J Thomas

Went to stay for a business trip stuff is very hospitable bill is the GM great guy always greet you with a smile very friendly stuff always there for you with anything you need 😀 home away from home with kitchen microwave refrigerator but the staff is what makes this place great I would recommend this to any of my friends family or anybody who needs a home away from home 🏡 give this place⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The staff was very friendly and were willing to go above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay. Also, the rooms were very clean. I will definitely stay here again next time I am in that town.
