Love everything about this Resort but have to single out the staff. From check-in with Diane, to vehicle/luggage assistance from James, James, Dave and NELSON (!), to Sam and the best filet/service ever at Courtside Restaurant and to Chris for the great poolside conversation and delicious food choices. I know I’ve left out a few but everyone at the front desk was helpful and friendly. The resort is recovering from Ian and the staff did everything possible to provide a great stay.

The location is perfect, it's very close to Bell Tower, Dave & Buster's and many good restaurants. And it's also only 20 mins from Downtown.
In general, the hotel is clean. However, I found a little hair on the toilet, I have to use a disinfection wipe to clean it by myself.
Besides that, the fitness center is big enough and the swimming pool is also nice.

My family and I recently stayed at this property after our flight was canceled due to Tropical Storm Debbie. I needed to find a place rather quickly and came across this Courtyard in the Bonvoy app. Upon arrival, we were granted early check-in, which was a huge plus as we had been up early, hoping to get out of Southwest Florida before further flooding occurred. Our room was modestly appointed with two queen beds and clean linens. The room was damp despite the AC trying to keep up with the constant humidity. My wife and kids could use the clean hotel pool, which kept them well entertained while I attended to some work calls in the room. The staff is overall friendly and very accommodating. For convenience, a restaurant adjacent to the property can be walked to, and the food was pretty tasty. Well our stay was mostly out of necessity, I would think about re-booking again if passing through the Fort Myers area.

Lovely new hotel. Warm greeting. Nice room. Comfortable beds. A little too dark: had to go out and buy and brighter bulb for the lamp in order to have a good reading light. Strange to have a little ”kitchenette” with microwave, fridge and coffeemaker without a sink, which used to be normal for Springhill Suites. Really miss that sink. Also, the new concept combines the lavatory with the toilet and shower. We prefer the divided concept where one person can use the lavatory while the other uses the bathroom. But we had an enjoyable stay and will likely stay there again.

Helena Guest, the Hansens. The hotel was spotless before the storm, during the storm and after the storm. Certain staff went above and beyond. At check-in Joey was professional during immense outside pressure conditions. Housekeeping let me have my peace without pressure. One important team member with Housekeeping, Maria, took care of what I asked for under 2 seconds. Throughout our stay (we will need accomadations longer due to damage) as I looked around Maria was at different locaions cleaning away. Thank the Lord for you and yours... Jennifer Pomphrey.

We enjoyed a perfectly fine stay in early March 2024. The location was good, and just a short 5-10 min walk from shops, restaurants and bars in Fort Myers (although, be mindful of needing to cross a very large intersection just outside the hotel). Plenty of free parking in their lot, but no EV chargers. Being a brand new hotel, the actual rooms/bathrooms were clean and comfortable. But as one reviewer notes, the HVAC unit was noisy. Wasn't a problem for us, but may be for others. Breakfast and other amenities are as you would you expect with any Hampton Inn. But special shout out to Beth who served breakfast each morning during our stay! Would stay here again.
Our boutique hotel is located downtown in the River District, across the street from the federal and county courthouses, and less than 2 blocks from the Calusa Harbor Convention Center. We are surrounded by local shopping, dining, historical attractions, and businesses. Our historic property features a beautiful rooftop with bar, pool, and fitness room - offering stunning views of downtown and the river.

We love this location right in the middle of downtown Fort Myers, Florida. We've stayed here a few times, including before the recent renovation. There is a an interesting variety of rooms with different layouts which we enjoyed. This time we chose a King room with balcony and city view. The balcony is small but big enough for 2 people and while it does have an ok ”city view,” it also looks down upon another roof below with all the air conditioners (something we do not like when paying extra for a ”view”). However, you can also see the river along with a bit of Patio DeLeon, in the middle of downtown Fort Myers. At night, is where the view shines with all the colorful lighting and usual music can be heard from live musicians. This room is fairly large for a boutique hotel with a larger than usual TV. However, the TV and dresser on which it sits are oddly placed in a corner at an angle, and pretty far from the bed detracting from the size of the screen. Programming is not in HD and also not set to the correct proportions (everything was vertically compressed) and the remote does not allow adjustments for this. It has a nice kitchenette area with a mini fridge but no microwave which we thought it should have given the price for the room and how inexpensive small microwaves cost (It may have been an option but it should already be there). Shower is very nice but every 30 seconds the water pressure dropped, then climbed back up - no biggie, just odd. Toilet paper seemed cheap for this type of hotel but all other items seemed to match this type of hotel. You have to pay $3 per bottle for the 2 bottles that are already in the room. It's like ”nickel and diming” for something as inexpensive as bottled water - like having no microwave, it takes away from the experience given the price of the room. Some light fixtures were not fully seated into the ceiling and like most hotels, the air vent in the bathroom had visible dust (I realize most people don't even look at these things, but I tend to notice it). The bed, although newer, was very firm, and not what we typically find in an upscale hotel. The walls are ”thin” allowing sounds from outside and adjacent rooms to be heard which is just an observation, not necessarily a negative. Front desk personnel were friendly, professional and helpful. Parking options are basically valet or one of 2 nearby parking garages. One parking garage is literally across the street which worked great for us at a lot less than using valet - pros and cons to each. The ice machine on our floor was not working which requires you to acquire ice on another floor (we were on the 7th floor - the top floor). There is a nice little rooftop bar which has a similar view of the city as our room but a little higher. The bar area has decent seating with a good mix of small couches, chairs and high top tables. We did not eat or have room service during this stay but it's available. Overall, it's a very nice, small hotel in an ideal, convenient location and we will definitely go back.

Very Good
RRGaitherHII read reviews of this property before going and wondered if I was going to a hell hole or a nice place. Thankfully we ended up at a very nice place. We were warmly welcomed by Mateo at the front desk who recognized our membership status and gave us clear directions to our room. Our room (410) was bright and clean and looked as if it had been refurbished in the not too distant past. The air conditioner worked well and was about as quiet as an air conditioner of its type could be. All the lights and outlets worked well, too. Breakfast was a typical Holiday Inn Express breakfast. The cinnamon rolls were in a warming tray, there was a toaster that worked well for my bagel, and the eggs, bacon and biscuits looked fresh (though I did not try them). The breakfast room was scheduled to close at 9. The woman in charge went out and looked up and down the halls at 9:05 then turned to the room to announce a last call for the breakfast. She did her best not to cut anyone off too soon. Checkout was easy and friendly. Why not a 5-star? The “suite” was one room with a 30” divider between the sofa and the bed. The sofa had no throw pillows, which were sorely needed due to its depth. So we resorted to using bed pillows. The sofa was just “there.” No tv to watch (it could be seen only while lying in bed). There was one bath towel per person. That was 2 towels short for our needs, which aren’t out of the ordinary. We were given extras when we asked. But we shouldn’t have had to ask. The Keurig-style coffee pot was tucked under the microwave. That made it impossible to open it to pour water into it. And why are hotels not putting at least plastic cups in bathrooms for use when brushing teeth? OK. Not much of this is different than in most Holiday Inn Expresses. But this one could have had 5 stars if it could have broken out of the mold. But I’d return here again if I had to make another trip to Fort Myers.
GGuest UserMy partner and I made this reservation several months before our date of arrival. A couple of weeks before our arrival, we called the property itself and requested a room on a higher floor, with a balcony, so that we could view the fireworks without leaving the comfort of our room. We were assured that our request would be honored. Upon checking in, we were assigned a first floor room with a small patio that afforded absolutely no privacy whatsoever, and not much of a river view either. Neither was the room particularly clean, carpeting in Florida is always iffy; and this carpet was so nasty that I couldn’t walk on it barefooted. In general, I found the housekeeping to be lax. The worst problem was the plumbing; the commode required at least three flushes to empty and the sink didn’t drain properly……it nearly overflowed while we brushed our teeth and while my companion shaved. The doors opened directly to the outside and not to a corridor, and the door itself had a relatively good size hole at the bottom of it. The bed was comfortable, the pillows were fine, the towels were fluffy, but all in all not one of Best Western‘s better hotels. We probably would not stay again.
Vvalerie sI liked this hotel alot the room is huge bed is very comfortable you get a microwave and coffeemaker and cooktop very nice font desk my only complaint is a booked this through agoda which was fully paid but they wanted a 50.00 deposit which was ok but I was there one night and I still haven't gotten my security deposit returned and I checked out 7/17 abd they dont answer bbb inquiry
GGuest UserGeneral, chain hotel with good value for money, often staying, can be accepted, that is, staying one night temporarily, is considered clean, breakfast is simple but can be full, fruit and meat and juice are considered good.
GGuest UserThe trip to the hotel was very relaxed and refreshing wood come back to again and a gain also the price was a very good one I will recommend you come to fort Myers and get a ride to the best places in yown
GGuest UserThe staff here was the best thing this hotel has going for it. That is really the only positive thing I have to say about my stay there.
The shuttle doesn’t start running until 10:30 am. When I arrived around 11, they didn’t have a room so I went to the pool to sit and wait. The pool area was fine, but the furniture is pretty beat up.
I went back inside after a while and heard person after person checking out complaining about dirty rooms, smells, and loud noise at night. It became clear that this is not just an airport hotel, but also a low rent living situation for a few people.
The front desk staff eventually got a room cleaned for me so I could check in early. My room was definitely not what I expected based on the photos. Paint was chipped, the shower was not clean and had mildew all around the seams. The room smelled musty. The pillows were the size of throw pillows you’d put on your sofa. Very bizarre.
I realize that it’s cheap and it’s near the airport so one can’t expect a first-class experience and I don’t go into it with those expectations. However, I wouldn’t stay there again.
GGuest UserThis was originally aimed at positioning the low end, so I was already prepared, did not let me down, it was very basic, there is nothing to make people feel like staying again.
GGuest UserDue to unforseen circumstances we had to cancel, The staff made checkin and check out very easy and processes or cancelation and refund with no problems what so ever.
MMissy NI would highly recommend this place, the staff go out of their way to be helpful and caring, the place is always clean. I especially love the front desk staff Cheryl and Kristian and must say my teenage is quite found of them too. Your not just a number , it’s nice to be greeted by my name when I walk in and I know my daughter is safe which is everything without safety we have nothing. Pete the maintenance man goes out of his way to say hello to everyone he passes and Wendy is just a ray of sun shine u can’t help but smile around her
