Courtyard Charlotte Fort Mill, SC

Great stay on our way to Hilton Head Island. Quick drive off 77 S. Upscale restaurants within walking distance, but hotel is in a quiet area. Clean, comfortable, upscale rooms. Friendly staff. Management excellent and helpful. Will stay again.

One of the best stays with Marriott I have had in a long time. Hotel is centrally located to restaurants, stores and the interstate. Plenty of eateries within walking distance. Nightlife is nearby but hotel is located in a quiet area. Worth the stay if going to Rock Hill SC.

STAY AWAY!!! - We were traveling to the Charlotte area for my daughter's volleyball tournament and unfortunately I tested for Covid the night before I was unable to make the trip. Because I was not there to check my family into the hotel, the front desk would not let them check. I requested they email me the authorization form and I would sign it and send it back. I have done that multiple times in the past and it has been very helpful when we have been traveling from different cities and arriving on different days. They refused to send me the authorization form and told my wife she must cancel the reservation and rebook a new room to allow my family to check-in. When she tried to do that, the new room rate was over $100 more per night that the rate in which we were booked. She asked if the hotel would honor the existing rate and they declined. Needless to say, she canceled the reservation and decided to stay at a higher-end Marriott property in the area. My family was able to check right in and when she told the staff about our horrendous experience at the Courtyard Marriott in Fort Mill, they were appalled and said they would have been fired if they ever treated a Marriott member the way the other Marriott treated our family. The new hotel was also kind enough to honor the room rate we had before even though it was much lower than their room rates. Excellent customer experience from the new hotel, and I will be leaving a very positive Google review for their property. I travel a lot and have achieved Marriott Ambassador status in the past (Titanium Elite currently). Usually, the Marriott staff is over-accommodating as a result. This was by far the worst customer experience we have ever had with Marriott and will NEVER book a room again at this poorly run facility. I advise everyone to stay as far away from the Fort Mill Courtyard Marriott as possible. Horrible experience, poorly trained staff and a lousy manager that hates her job.

Excellent situation with lots of resort style ambiance of Kingsley Mills Village. Rooms were comfortable and well appointed. My only complaint is that at least a continental breakfast should be complimentary. The bistro has lots of paid choices, however.

Fantastic hotel in an excellent location. New and super clean. The surrounding area has upscale shopping and restaurants within steps of the front door. Staff was helpful and genuine. I will definitely stay here on future trips. Add this hotel to your list while traveling through the area!

The Marriott Courtyard Fort Mills should be a template for all new Courtyard hotels. They have captured the essence of the surrounding area known for historic fabric mills. Contemporary, shiny, and new...this hotel is pretty great. AND if alone it is is an amazing hip shopping and restaurant complex for dining options. Highly recommend

I had to make an impromptu trip to Charlotte, NC area for a funeral. I did as much research as I could and the Ft. Mill area looked like a good location between relatives and the church. I settled on the Courtyard Marriott at Ft. Mill. The accommodations were excellent. Clean. Well appointed. The staff at the front desk were great as were all other employees I encountered. The standard noon checkout worked well for my plans. There are a whole host of restaurants and shops within a quick walk in this enclave. For a one night trip, I made it to the Epic Steakhouse (it was Epic), the Brixx Brick Oven Pizza, and Panera Bread. I already want to go back to stay at the Marriott and visit some more of the restaurants ‼️

We live in the area but have had to stay here a couple of times for a week or more. The hotel is sparkling clean. I couldnt find one fingerprint or dirt anywhere. The rooms are huge with everything you need. The maid service is friendly and helpful and do a great job. Breakfast is tasty and different than the breakfast at other hotels. I also wanted to say the front desk help is outstanding. All of them go above and beyond with a smile everytime. I have to say Susan has been the most pleasant and helpful front desk person Ive ever had. Ft mill is a great safe town to stay. Ive lived in Ft mill for 32 years and couldnt ask for a better town to stay in.
