Still the kind of hotel I like, but I booked the pier view room of the main building before, but I didn't know that the person who arrived at the front desk said that it was changed to the room in the deputy building. I didn't know what was wrong in the middle, because the room in the main building was confirmed by the reservation again and again and the customer service. But when I checked in, I was ruled by the hotel brother and went to the deputy building. . . The overall environment of the hotel is still OK, 40 minutes walk from the beach, 10 minutes by taxi to the beach, and it is very convenient to leave the cruise terminal. The hotel will provide a car to the pier for 6 dollars. If you do a cruise, booking a hotel must be a good choice. The surrounding dining and supermarket are also more convenient. Overall is OK

I had a very enjoyable stay. The hotel front office manager even upgraded my room because I felt like the other one had been smoked in. The staff in general is very friendly and professional. The valets were awesome and quick, quick quick. On top of the incredible service the oceanfront location and pool cannot be beaten. B Ocean was beautiful

Nice hotel in great location with direct access to the beach and local restaurants.
Service was OK, the team always seemed to be trying hard to deliver best possible service, only exception was at the Breeze Cafe during the daytime where the lady really appeared to lack interest in being at work.
Wonderful pool area which was surprisingly busy and good atmosphere watching the Fifa World Cup on tvs at the bar.
Room was OK, good facilities. Only criticism was door lock to balcony didn't work and there was a horrendous smell on first day - like a dead animal or wet carpet?. I left the balcony door open whilst in the room to air it out which seemed to resolve it.

I took my daughter on a mother daughter trip. We stayed only 1 night. The hotel staff went above and beyond. They were so incredibly helpful! They allowed us to check in early the day we arrived and even allowed a late checkout the following day! They were so helpful getting the free bike rental, even brought a toothbrush to my room when I realized I had forgotten mine. Amazing staff.
This hotel was cute, very close to the beach and not to far to get to shops. We didn't have a carso we walked or rode bikes everywhere. It's an older hotel, the floors have not been updat, but the beds and bathroom were clean and comfortable. Will definitely stay here again.

Outdated facilities, especially the cold and hot water pressure is very small, the amount of water is large, uncomfortable! Breakfast is good. The location is excellent. The room is quiet.

My review is a little late but My husband and I with our 2 kids, stayed at the W and we had a great experience. We were there the last week of July. We stayed for 8 days. The hotel is beautiful, very upscale. Lots of amenities. From when we checked in, everyone was super nice. We had a great view of the beach from our Balcony. We stayed on the 21st floor and our floor was very quiet. Our room was very clean, always smelled good as soon as you would walk out of the elevator into the hallways. Hotel was very clean. Our room was always serviced. The room was super nice. Great access to the beach. Valet service was great, everyone was super nice. We did not eat at the hotel though because it was pretty pricey. Overall we had a great experience and definitely would return back to the W in the future.

I must say I almost didn't book through Trip.com after reading some of the negative comments but that was NOT my experience at all! I saved money significantly by booking through them for the Oceanfront Suite and was able to confirm with the Hilton property right away that I was confirmed for what I booked. I would definitely book using Trip.com again in the future. The hotel itself was in an amazing location, great room view and value for the price. A few updates would make it exceptional but overall was still great.

Third day same, but the last morning is terrible, she did not serve me, the cooker has to come to me say hello then help me.

Good location, there is a supermarket near the mall, walking to the beach in ten minutes. If you are staying in Fort Lauderdale for a long time, it is recommended to stay. For in-house facilities, the price is slightly higher than similar hotels.

Very Good
GGuest UserThis was absolutely the best Marriott that I've ever stayed at, by far. It was spotlessly clean and the staff could not be more helpful and professional everyone that I came in contact with!! The location was perfect as I was going to a show and it was right around the corner. My compliments to Assistant General Manager Debra Smith who was always available and went above and beyond to ensure 100% satisfaction. I noticed her with other guests, being just as hospitable. I also noticed her with staff members and she was very encouraging, kind, and motivating. She is the real deal, a true gem! The entire staff was outstanding I cannot wait to go back. Thank you!
GGuest UserI’ve stayed in plenty of different quality hotels motels and resorts, and this is an experience I will never forget. It was like a 1990s horror film. Gnats EVERYWHERE. I have no idea where they were coming from. They refused to leave. I smashed 5 and 5 more would come back. They seemed to be very attracted to the HVAC filter in the closet, as well as the crevices of the ceilings & walls. Most notably, ME. That could be you or your children. They were flying into my arms and neck and were trying to fly down my ear. Disgusting! I don’t even experience that outdoors! RocketStays response was “did you check under the kitchen sink for bug spray?” I shouldn’t have to poison myself to poison a bug. Do you not know what pest control is? Im surprised gnats we’re the only thing I saw and there were no ants. I’m sure there are bed bugs but I could not really confirm. If anything there is and they tried to detail the mattress itself to get rid of the stains. They could not however, get rid of the human sweat silhouette that is stained into the mattress. Disgusting. Very clearly Sleeping in someone else’s filth. I considered sleeping on one of the couches and wrapping myself up in a sheet with a mask on but I told myself there’s no reason to punish myself. I ended up washing my laundry with the in-unit machines that seem like they were just placed there recently and I hit the road at midnight. I slept in my car at a nearby turnpike service area. I slept great and woke up to a beautiful sunshine followed by an immaculate breakfast far away from room 203 at this location. As someone else said, VERY sketchy. Even the lock code situation is sketchy. That means if someone is watching my door they can easily enter the code and get right in when I am not there. Each set of blinds had one slat missing so someone with the right view could always look in. The stovetop and oven are covered in grease and grime. One gentle swipe of the hand and it comes right off the surface. Would not recommend you book any room type here. Keep your kids far away from here. I say that as a single adult with no kids. This building is unsafe. Destruction, infestation, dust and mold. The bathroom was clearly recently “remodeled”, but the entire place still looks and feels like the slums. Quite a depressing loss of $307+. The best parts about it were the in-unit washer and dryer, and the fact the Cheesecake Factory was not too far away for dinner. I thought I would cook something on the stove with the included weak cookware, but I refused to even consider utilizing the water from the sink for cooking water. God only knows what the pipes have been through in this place. Think about that. Very scary place. Assume all 5 star reviews are fake. Especially one that said “quiet safe neighborhood” or something like that. No it’s not. It’s way back in the deep end of a No Outlet road covered by trees and darkness. It was no safer than a New York City street at any time of day. I could
BBurnettBruceAs for value in the area compared to other hotels you really can’t get better. We needed a place to stay for three nights and every other hotel in the area We were looking at paying much more. The rooms are small but they look recently remodeled and are clean and comfortable. If you want to spend a $1000 or more on a room for three nights than great, you can get one of the other hotels, but if you’re looking for something that’s still on the beach and actually affordable and still nice than I would recommend staying here..
GGuest UserRoom took an extra hour and 1/2 before I could check in. It was nice having pool/beach availability immediately but I was really in need of a nap after being up 48hrs. The waitress in the poolside restaurant was amazing. I told her my drink was a little watered down and she gave me 2 shots and mixed it again! Room was clean and comfortable and we loved the beach.
Brittany and Natalie was amazing very friendly and kind will definitely be back and recommend to ally friends and family. Best part of my vacation can't wait to come back. Oh and the hotel was very clean and well kept.
QQueenxEchoIt’s a great location but the rooms are very old feeing. It’s infested with cockroaches and the woman at the fent desk (black hair heavy set ) is the owner and she’s always extorting money out of people .. online you can book a room for $85 but u go to her in person she’s charging u $130 and if you check in early she wants $30 extra oh and I’m not checking into my room for 2 hours yet , use the toilet and it floods out my room and she charged me $50. But I’m the one who had to sit around HALF OF FHE DAY WIRH PISS WATER ALL OVER MY FLOORS and the maintenance man coming in and out for 3 hours . I should have been compensated for thr 5 hours of Bull**** but of course she ain’t gonna cough uo on no money. Anyways it’s straight and she takes cash
Very clean, and accommodating, while I had prepaid for the room, and my husband I checked in late, at first they said they were full, but a young lady and the front desk clerk asked us if we needed a sofa bed, and we said no, and the room they gave us sans sofa, was comfortable, clean and perfect for our needs. We appreciated that.
Jjayalong01I stayed here 3/22/24. First off when we came in the esthetics was dated. It looked like they never replaced nothing in 50years. The chairs were peeling, the elevator was scary, there is no lighting for the outside rooms, they didn’t bother to repaint or replace $h!t, and the flooring was terrible. It’s so many things I could name. Then we were spraying things down and found this bed bug, but we only saw the one pictured below so we thought we were good. Baby when I say something ate the hell out of me Allllll night. It ate me like a buffet. I drifted off but something was biting me and I jumped up to a little bug eating my @$$ like the last supper. We checked out that scary piece of scrap metal and brick at 4 in the morning. I am still itching right now! Don’t book here!!!!!!
