Compared to some other chains in this area, like Ayre's and Homewood, these suites leave a bit to be desired. This is especially true of the queen suites, which are not true 1 bedroom suites but ”studio suites” without a truly separate sleeping area. Also our queen suite only had 1 TV (and unfortunately, lacked even the usual CNN, MSNBC, ESPN channels. However, on the good side, there are above average beds and decent hot breakfast. Also, parking is free (I believe Homewood charges $10 for parking).

I stayed here once before, about 5 months ago… So, when visiting the area, I immediately selected this property again to stay at because I knew it would be a solid choice, and it was. The staff was friendly and efficient at checking me in. I requested a towel refresh after my first night and they brought me a bunch of towels, but didn’t take the used towels… not sure why, but at least I got new towels. The TV worked well, but the HVAC seemed to just constantly run and, though it cooled the room a little, it never got near the temp we selected, so it ran all the time and it’s too loud. Shower worked well and for the first time ever while staying in an Aloft, the hot water worked! I’ve stayed in many Aloft hotels and the hot water is always warm at best, including the last time I stayed here, but this time it worked like it should. I wish they’d fix the graffiti in the elevators and clean the place up a little. But overall, I’d return again.

Early flight out will tomorrow before hotel bus starts at 5am. Greeted upon entering, nice staff. Told us where we can park car for one week free. Gave us directions for local places to eat that we could walk to. Room clean and nice. Seems to be well maintained .

From the beginning of the stay to the end, we were in complete dissatisfaction with the way we were treated. We were encouraged by the great reviews on Google and on hotels.com of this location, but unfortunately do not believe what everyone says. Don’t be fooled! After we checked into our hotel we went to get food. After we got food and returned back to our hotel, we noticed that there were blood stains on our bed sheets and comforter, upon looking closely. We were obviously disgusted by this and did not want to use the bedding if it had blood in it, so we called the front desk at that time. The lady at the front desk said that she is very sorry and that she cannot have a maid replace the sheets because there were no maids at that time. Then I asked for a new set of sheets and bedding so that I could replace it myself. The lady said that she will send over the bed sheets as soon as possible. A guy who looks like a new hire by the name of “Colby, Colvy, or Toby” (one of those names, the hotel staff declined to confirm which one), arrived at our hotel room in about 10 or 15 minutes. With an attitude from when we opened our door to greet him, he gave us just the bare set of inner sheets. Upon receiving the sheets, I asked, “Could we get a comforter?”. He responded back saying, “you didn't ask for a comforter, I am giving you bed sheets.” I said back to him, “we need a comforter because the bloody bed sheets touched the comforter hence we would need all new bedding.” With extreme disrespect and rudeness, he said he will go get it. When he returned with the comforter in hand I had the old sheets that had blood on it, all wrapped up. Then he gives me the comforter. I asked him “what do you want me to do with the bloody bed sheets”, and he said “I don't know what you want me to do with it. It's not my job. You know, I am doing you a favor by bringing you these things right now, this isn't even my job, I work at the front desk.” Obviously I was very upset at this and I found this to be extremely unprofessional as the hotel had blood on the sheets, and they should do anything to fix it and to make sure that we are happy. Obviously in this case this employee did not care. When I replied back saying “that this is a problem that needs to be fixed and whoever's working at the hotel needs to be able to help me and not be rude to me, I was replied back with a statement that I would be kicked out for being too disrespectful. Along with this, this individual decided to curse at me and once he started cursing at me, with fear of safety because my girlfriend was also in the bedroom I closed the door and locked it. Despite me closing the door and locking it, this man continued to curse me out and it seems like he almost wanted to fight me saying “F*ck this and f*ck that, come on man, it's like that?!” Then I give a call to the front desk and the same lady answers again, I explain the whole situation and she apologizes. She confirms to me that compensation will be gi

The room was not clean, there were sticky spots to most furniture. Even though we booked a triple room we were given a queen bed and a couch without sheets. The phone in the room was not working and I had to go back to reception to ask for sheets and pillows. When we opened the couch it was full of old food and dirt. Even though it advertises that there is free shuttle to the airport, there was no shuttle during our stay and we had to walk to the airport.
Located within walking distance to the Ontario Convention Center and about 1 Mile from the Ontario International Airport ( ONT ), Other nearby attractions: the California Speedway, the TOYOTA Arena and the Pomona Fairplex. There are also numerous fine dining restaurants in walking distance, and shopping malls nearby, such as the Ontario Mills Mall and Victoria Gardens. Our property is not located on the airport flight path for a quiet but close stay!!!

First impression was not good. There was someone smoking pot in the parking lot when we pulled in and the hotel has this funky smell to it. Also, the hotel is located in the middle of an industrial area w/ the highway right across. So it seems very desolate and uninviting at first. But when you get your room, it's pretty nice. We had a 2 bed room and the beds sheets/pillows were clean and there was enough room for both of us. I was expecting a dungy bathroom but it was nice as well. Good room for the shower and sink/toilet. Also very clean. Yes, there is some funky smells in the rooms that others have pointed out. I'm not sure where it comes from but you smell it and I guess we get use to it. It's not overbearing but a bit of an annoyance. Maybe it comes from the Air Conditioner. But best thing was proximity to the university. You don't need to take the highway from here to get to the university. Side streets and you'll be there in about 10 min time. Price was cheapest in the entire area of hotels. Booked thru Costco Travel. For a 1-3 day visit the hotel will suit your needs.

Everything was great. Except the room wasn’t cleaned up very well which made me feel pretty uncomfortable. The customer service was nice but the following morning I kept getting harassed over check out even though I requested and was given permission for a late check out at 1pm instead of 11am but other than that it was OK.

BBob KI have stayed at this motel 3 times since December of 2020. My review can only be written in two parts, complimentary and critical. Complimentary: As I have written in previous reviews, this is a very nice motel. Very clean, well maintained, and great location to freeways. Critical: I had total knee replacement surgery on September 24th. On August 28th, I went to this motel to make a reservation for September 24th and 25th. I had to have someone stay with me for the first 2 days post surgery. When making the reservation I was very clear that I needed a handicap access room. I asked if I could see one of those rooms and was told that I could not, due to Covid. I was not going to touch anything, I just wanted to make sure it was what I needed. I explained that the room had to be for me and someone to help me. There was only a queen sized bed in the room, but I was assured that there was a sofa in the room where my helper could sleep. Upon check-in on the 24th, we went to the room, and there was NO sofa. Just a bed, table and chairs, and one other chair too small for anyone to sleep in comfortably. Also upon check in, I was told that the normal buffet style breakfast was different in that they were using up everything until they ran out and that they were going to be going back to sack breakfasts that had to be heated in the room microwave. My friend went to get breakfast Saturday morning, and the only thing available was some scrambled eggs, juice, coffee and toast. Nothing else, so he went to McDonalds to get us a decent breakfast. The soda machine was out of order, with a sign that read ”soda machine out of order, bottled water is being sold in the lobby”. Now, on top of all of that, I paid $190.27 for Friday night and $214.54 for Saturday night. Total: with taxes $437.98. Absolutely ridiculous rates for the type of room and service we received. I paid less than that for an ocean view room on Waikiki Beach in Hawaii. I will be staying at this motel in the future, only because it is the only decent motel in an area where I conduct business. I just hope this review does not fall on deaf ears.....
Stayed here recently because of the hotel’s proximity to Kaiser Fontana Hospital. My wife lost her father while we stayed here and this hotel served as a refuge for the grief we felt. We stayed in room 429, floor facing the main street. I am a Hilton Honors member and tend to stay in Hilton properties over Marriott and other brands. I have to say this was one of the best experiences we have had at a hilton property. The thing was…there wasn’t anything necessarily exceptional about the stay, other than a few things. However, these things can make or break a hotel experience. FIRST: the staff were EXCELLENT. Professional. Friendly. Good at their jobs. Special shout out to Shalayla, Krystal, and Stephanie (night front desk person), for being super accommodating, professional, and sincere. My wife and I appreciated this, especially during the difficult time we experienced with our loss. SECOND: rooms were CLEAN and BEDS were comfortable. Not too soft or firm, just right. Pillows were comfy. Wifi signal was strong, even without the upgrade which cost 4.95 per day. I streamed my shows with just the free wifi and it was perfectly fine. THIRD: the window in the room opened a few inches, giving you a bit of fresh air, which is WONDERFUL. Please keep this ability. In a time of covid and airborne viruses, it was nice to know we could get some fresh into the room to clear things out. LASTLY, it was quiet when we needed it to be. Although, I would say if you are very sensitive to noise, do not get an adjoining room. As is the norm for rooms with adjoining rooms, we were able to hear our neighbors a bit in the morning when they got up. They were construction guys, so they were up at dawn and out of the room pretty quickly, but just be aware if you want to sleep. Ask for a room with no door connecting to your neighbors. Other than this, which was nothing honestly, we had a perfect stay. THANK YOU to the staff at the Hilton Garden Inn Fontana. You were kind to your guests, when they needed it most. If you are looking for a safe and clean hotel to rest when you need to, this Hilton location in Fontana is a good bet. - Maya and Jaime, August 2023
The staff greeted me politely upon entering the Hotel. The sweet older lady that checked us in even called our room about 10 minutes after checking in to make sure we were pleased with the room, we appreciated that. Lots of restaurants in same parking lot, including clothing stores. Target walking distance.
