The staff was very friendly and they are very helpful, dedicated good people. The area around the place is a bit dodgy though and the experience was quite unique but not bad!

I only stayed for 1 night but the check in was quick, the bed, dorm and shower were clean, and there was parking right in front of the hostel. If I come back to vacation in the keys/miami again I will definitely use Hoosville Hostel again.

The property was fine, it depends on people staying in the rooms . Rules are not enforced, which made the stay unpleasant. Other than that , it was ok.

Place is relatively clean and has such good decor. However, I would personally like to complain about the man running the hostel/behind the counter Justin. He was EXTREMELY rude and disrespectful and unkind ever since i checked into the hostel last spring break in march. He constantly gave me and some people an attitude, allowed some people to openly smoke in the rooms. i remember one time i politely asked for more towels/blankets and he shouted at me “NO!” and just blew me off in a huff and left me stunned and upset. absolutely TERRIBLE customer service. I highly recommend, or even DEMAND that he be FIRED so he can no longer treat any other customer like this ever again. otherwise, appropriate action and discipline must be taken!!!!!!! Great place to kick back after exploring. Simple, affordable, laid-back. I would advise bringing some disinfectant wipes for the shared bathroom, as some people have not been taught how to clean themselves, but that's just one of those things with shared facilities. I would not hesitate to book here again!

Leider kein touristisches Hostel, habe nur Arbeiter oder Überbrückungsmieter getroffen. Die Lage ust für touristische Zwecke eine Katastrophe. Mit Bus und Bahn braucht man um die 2 Stunden nach Downtown. Der Garten will zuviel: Minipool, Klettergarten, Tanzfläche, etc... und alles immer unbenutzt.
