The Ocean Breeze Motel rooms are clean and neat but they smell of disinfectant.  I reserved two rooms 3 days in advance. I requested rooms near each other. We got #3 and #11. Some of the electrical outlets were not working.

I've delayed writing this review, because this motel has a reputation for adding charges to your bill after you've checked out. I wanted to make sure before this review that we had not received any extra, unwarranted charges. It happened to a family member that stayed at Ocean Breeze shortly before our visit. They were billed an additional $100 later for supposedly cooking fish in their room, which simply hadn't happened. Fish wasn't even in their restricted diet. No amount of arguing and showing evidence to the contrary made any difference to management. Not a good way to attract new visitors. Apart from that major problem, I'd have to say that Ocean Breeze was one of the nicest motels we've visited in several years. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Rates were, at least before additional charges, quite reasonable. If not for their questionable billing practices I would gladly stay there again.

We booked this on a quick family vacation. We booked this motel for 1 night. The suite was great and we were pleasantly surprised one of the queens beds was its own room which was a great surprise for my husband and I. We got their late in the evening and the front desk called to confirm we were still coming around 7pm and stayed until we got there to check in which was late in the night. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. There was no a/c but I used the fan in the room and stayed very comfortable. It is right on the 101 but we sleep with a sound machine and I didn't hear the traffic once. We would definitely stay here again.

My first impressions were great. It's a beautiful motel that is well maintained. It's quaint and has comfortable, very clean rooms. Very good customer service too. We've stayed at the Ocean Breeze 2 times over the past few years on our travels through Florence. Highly recommend!

Great hospitality and very clean rooms. Attractive rooms with individual decorative touches. The owners were friendly and shared information about the area. The General Manager previously worked for a major hotel chain. It shows in the thoughtful amenities in the room. I was pleased and impressed when a manager called to tell me a family of 20 just checked into rooms near mine. She said to let her know if they were too noisy and she would speak with them. There was no need for that—the people were very nice and considerate. We all enjoyed our stay.

Nice hotel. Coomfy bed. Very clean. Parking is easy. Small refrigerator. Nice shower. No air conditioning but there is a fan. No breakfast but restaurants are in the town. Road is close by and busy and road traffic is noisey if you leave your windows open to get cooled down at night since there is no air conditioning. Bring earplugs if you are a lite sleeper. Saw the cleaning lady smoking a cigarette going into clean the room. Room did not smell of smoke. Probably would return because of comfy bed if the weather forcast didn’t show very hot temperatures.

Great little 101 Motel. I'll be back. Comfortable beds. Large bathrooms. Better than a lot of Motels, along 101. It is close to Siltcoos Lake and Honeyman St Park. I'll start staying twice a year now. I'm there......Every time We go to Siltcoos for Large Mouth fishing.

We enjoyed our stay at Ocean breeze motel. The motel rooms were clean. Check-in and check out process was seamless. less paper work. The motel management and support staff was very kind and helpful. I will strongly recommend this motel for staying.

What a wonderful stay I had at this homey cozy motel! So quiet -I slept so good here. I felt safe and very comfortable. The room was very clean and the accommodations were perfect. I will make this my go to place to stay when I visit Florence. Located away from the busy downtown area and close to the dunes and coastal lakes. Satma is so welcoming and helpful. A+!!
