Gold Beach Resort

Cet hôtel avec quelques investissements de modernisation salle d’étains , mobilier etc… et peut être un upgrade en prestations bar restauration et donc prix serait sûrement très apprécié. Car le site est bon, les batiments sont sympas quoique un peu vieux et le personnel sympa.

We stayed a few days with 11 people including 2 babies in this hotel. Catastrophic management of room allocation. We found ourselves in a tiny room with a baby while everyone else in the group had gigantic rooms. for information, we paid the same amount.. After complaining at reception, we were told the hotel is full, the person in charge of reservations will be there on Monday... after insisting, a person managed to help us find a better room but still lower than the price we paid... the breakfast and dinner buffet were identical during the 3 nights and 4 days... very slow service.. 0 bottle of cold water, orange juice cut with water and so on. The hotel staff who don't even know the typology of the rooms to assign us a room similar to the group.. If I have any advice to give you... pay more and don't come to this hotel :) The only one positive point is the proximity to the beach..

We were able to enjoy the magnificent setting of the terrace and use the deckchairs during the day without sleeping there, but eating in the restaurant and bar. It was truly magnificent. The boss was very accommodating. We absolutely enjoyed ourselves at lunchtime. The dishes arrived quickly and were delicious. The sunset is right on the terrace or you can see it with your feet in the water. We also had a massage at the Heaven & Earth Ayurvedic Wellness spa which is in the hotel for an extremely affordable price and the massage was great! We didn't sleep in the hotel, but if we had to stay in the area we wouldn't hesitate for a second. Another big thank you to the team and we are already looking forward to coming back!

Unforgettable stay due to the many problems and incidents experienced during our 2-night stay from 12/23 to 24/2022. Their website which we had previously consulted is a complete web of lies. Contrary to what it describes, there is no fitness room, no table tennis, no ironing equipment. Our room had no telephone, no hanger in the wardrobe, no cover sheet on the bed and the toiletries consisted of a bar of soap. No beach towel. It wasn't until around 11 o'clock in the evening that we were able to get a few hangers and a bed sheet. Our room was dated and dirty. Presence of a cockroach in the bathroom and numerous traces of humidity (silicone seals in the shower in a bad state. The next morning (Christmas Eve) never experienced breakfast. At 7:30 a.m., the scheduled time, nothing food, no water, coffee machine out of order, etc. and above all no manager. Only a young girl (intern) for the service is very quickly overwhelmed by the complaints and dissatisfaction of the people present. It was only an hour later that we were finally able to have lunch. The manager, who we were finally able to contact by phone and who was supposed to come and meet us, made us happy. The rest of the stay, Christmas Day and the evening became normal. an increase in staff and normal services, the fact remains that we believe we have been deceived and experienced bad times that we are not ready to forget. The obsolescence of the equipment either.
