Courtyard Fishkill

The hotel was fine for an overnight stay. It was clean, but definitely a little worn. It had an upgraded motel feel to it. The room had a faint smell of cigarettes. The carpet made the room feel worse as it looked really old and could use a steam clean. We were comfortable and the staff was friendly. It’s in a good location with many places to eat and Walmart a few minutes away.

Let me start by saying Liza is great! I booked two rooms from August 1st and August 3rd. Liza checked us in. Thanked me for being a titanium elite lifetime member. Worked really hard at getting us two adjoining rooms. She’s a superstar! Definitely deserves a raise and a promotion. The courtyard should thank their lucky stars for her. That being said, This courtyard isn’t good. It’s not the cleanest. The rooms aren’t serviced well. Liza honestly should take her talents elsewhere. I stayed in the area earlier this year at the SpringHill suites. It’s a better hotel connected to the Residence Inn. Cleanliness matters and the courtyard falls short. The other hotels lack customer service in comparison with the Courtyard but I’d rather put up with their attitudes than to stay in a not so clean hotel. I’ll definitely be back to the area but not at the Courtyard. I’ll probably stop in and say hello to Liza. Great customer service is rare nowadays.

Liza is Awesome!! My family and I booked two rooms at the Courtyard. Checked in by Liza and was treated with absolute top notch customer service. WOW! She is the best, thanked me for being a titanium elite lifetime member. Also, she worked extremely hard finding us an adjoining room. This type of customer service doesn’t seem to exist anymore. When I encounter someone with this level of customer service and professionalism it should definitely be acknowledged. Liza deserves a raise and a promotion. The property is cool. Quiet, clean and in a great area. Close to restaurants and a quick drive to children’s fun places. Great for families. The pool is small as well as the gym but it does the job. Please patronize and ask for Liza. You’ll be treated well and you’ll be glad you came.

Stayed here for a family wedding nearby. Front desk service was excellent. Plenty of parking near your room (door entrance). Rooms were fine - what you would expect of a Courtyard. Also very typical location for a Courtyard - many restaurant and dining choices nearby and quick access to local highways. Solid cafe for breakfast on-site. The gym and pool didn't look particularly appealing. Wifi was good.

Great experience. Not traveling under the best of circumstances but Tyler and Royal - the entire staff, really - made everything easy. Hospitality started when I walked in the door late one night with a cheerful “Welcome!”. Could not be more grateful to the folks here.

Very clean Marriott property right off the highway near gas, restaurants and shopping. Arrived around 7:30pm and was offered an upgrade to a 1 BR suite (Marriott Platinum for Life status). We truly appreciated the extra room. It had a small fridge, microwave and long countertop to place items. Bed was comfy, a little firmer than our preference, but better than most. Lots of pillows in the room so we didn’t have to call down and ask for more. The cafe with Starbucks was our main reason for booking this particular hotel (there are at least a half dozen other hotels within 1/2 mile radius). They don’t have a dark roast decaf and couldn’t do a pour over so I got the dark roast. It was much weaker than any dark roast I have had a Starbucks. It also wasn’t as hot as I would have liked it - almost like warm. Front desk at check in and check out were very friendly and helpful. Housekeeping does a great job keeping the rooms fresh and clean. If our travels take us through Fishkill, NY again, we would definitely stay here again. Overall A-.
