Athol House is lovely. The rooms are spotless and very comfortable. Sam and Diane are fantastic hosts nothing is too much trouble. The breakfast was delicous, best poached eggs ever. Thank you for a great stay. We will be back. Julie and Paul

East coast trip.
Great friendly hosts, best breakfast ever, with locally sourced products. Our room was a little small, but still comfortable and tea, coffee, milk and biscuits were provided.

The best guest house we have stayed in. Spotlessly clean very friendly owners and also a great breakfast .good comfortable beds and.a very quiet room ideally situated for both the sea front or the town centre and a lovely beach to walk on when tide is out will definitely be back and would highly recommend

On arrival Sam & Diane are friendly & welcoming. The house & rooms are spotless & you feel right at home, There are nice touches including biscuits, toiletries & fresh milk. The bedroom was well equipped for a family with lots of storage space & comfy beds. The shower was great - as was the breakfast - which has to be one of the best we have had - with lovey fresh ingredients, nicely cooked & the best ever poached eggs. Athol House is well situated being a short walk to the shops, beach, park etc. Highly recommended & we will definatley stay again.

Absolutely faultless. Rooms are so spacious and spotless. From the minute we arrived the Dianne and Sam were welcoming and could do more to accommodate more for us and our son, even making a small breakfast for him and making sure we had what we needed. Great for families with a travel cot and even proper baby blanket provided. Will definitely stay here again !!

Absolutely brilliant guesthouse in the heart of Filey. The owners are absolutely lovely and the rooms are spotless. We had an amazing weekend and will definitely be coming back. The breakfast was top notch, It's worth the trip for the poached eggs alone!

This was simply the best Guest House we have ever stayed in. The hosts were so lovely and welcoming, the accommodation was beautifully decorated, immaculately clean with a warm, relaxing atmosphere. The breakfast was delicious and set us up for the day. It goes without saying that we have booked to return again next year. 😀
