Albergo storico, da fuori si presenta bene, arredamento nelle aree comuni quasi da museo. La zona piscina e palestra andrebbero sistemate meglio, poca pulizia. La nostra camera era bella, grande e moderna ma in una settimana non hanno mai pulito (a parte il bagno). Colazione buona e ampia scelta, la cena invece così così con pietanze appena sufficiente e poca scelta. Personale cortese, soprattutto quello in sala.

Siamo stati ospiti ad Agosto. La struttura è pessima in termini di servizi: camere con scarso livello di pulizia, cattivo odore, infestato dalle api, personale (ad eccezione di quello italiano) poco cortese ed accogliente, doccia sempre con acqua fredda nonostante le ripetute segnalazioni e privo di aria condizionata (abbiam dovuto chiedere i ventilatori in camera e nella sala da pranzo). Uniche note positive: Hotel caratteristico in quanto ambientato in un castello, buona cucina e birreria annessa all hotel che ha salvato diverse serate in quante l hotel è estremamente isolato e privo di animazione. We stayed for a week's skiing in January (great snow conditions). First bus (close by) is 8:40 so 8:50 before you get to slopes. It's a quirky hotel with some lengthy corridors. Room was fine, breakfast was good if you don't mind waiting 10mins for a slow cooked egg, leisure area was a mix of very tired swimming pool area and lovely sauna / relaxation areas. The dining room area was too small for the evening buffet meals so you may have a wait for your table even if you've made a reservation. Service can be entertaining. Meals were about school meal standard - the worst we've experienced in dozens of visits to Austrian 4 star hotels. It's fine as a base for skiing as long as the quality is reflected in the price.

Zeer familie/kind vriendelijk hotel, met een leuke sfeer en overal heel welwillend personeel dat graag stapje meer zet voor de klanten. Voor 2e maal verbleven en wederom zeer flexibel met betrekking tot tijd van aankomst/vertrek en altijd met een glimlach. Hotel is ‘eerlijk’, niet mooier maken dan het is en eens echt gewoon volgens de foto’s en omschrijving. Zeker een aanrader voor (in ons geval) jonge gezinnen op wintersport!

The hotel has seen better day. While it is located in a nice hostorical building, the rooms and facilities are in need of a thorough renovation. Our bathroom looked like it was build in the 1970s. The food is average at best. In the three days we stayed at the hotel the evening buffet contained Wiener Schnitzel on two days. The vegetarian options are limited to pasta. The salat buffet is basic. Same is true for the breakfast.

I will start with a positive. The staff are 5 star, they are all kind, polite and could not do enough for you. The hotel is an old impressive building however, it is very tired and for the price point, it doesn't bring value. The hotel gets extremely hot, the rooms were so hot we could not sleep, we were told that this was b/c our room was above the sauna but all the guests we spoke to said the same thing. We were moved and that was slightly better, no WIFI, some rooms had WIFI but it was very, very slow. The food was awful, breakfast options were so poor and donuts on offer for breakfast is a joke! no fresh fruit, all canned fruit, processed ham, never enough breakfast tea teabags. Breakfast room soooo hot and packed!! not enough staff to support, they are run of their feet. Supper was also pretty awful too, very little healthy options. Would not return.

This hotel is great for short time off before main vacation. The hotel is great with friendly staff and medieval style buildings. The food is tasteful and fresh with moderate prices for drinks. The suite was spacious and comfortable with bedroom on second floor. The only period of the year when I would not advise to stay in the room would be in the heat of the summer since the room would be like an oven. Because of the impression my wife and I are thinking of returning here for winter skiing.

Hotel was great! Spa facilities fantastic. Staff were incredibly friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We were staying there for a week long ski trip via Crystal. Fieberbrunn ski area 5 mins away by free shuttle bus which was great. The only reason for not giving 5 stars - whilst the ‘castle’ setting was fantastic, the rooms were quite basic - also the food (on which we had a half board option) was buffet style, was varied and plentiful but I would have preferred food cooked to order. Having said that, overall the trip was great value for money. I would not hesitate to return
