My friend and I stayed here the 3 nights we were in Fez. In all we stayed in 4 different riads in Morocco. This riad was lovely, the decor on the ground floor is absolutely beautiful. It’s on the smaller side compared to other places we stayed, and a little less polished in general, but it was great for us. It was extremely quiet, in fact, we were the only guests, which I don’t understand as it is a lovely place, but Fes was kind of quiet. When we got there, they offered us a room directly off reception, but we wanted more privacy so they gave us a room upstairs. The beds were the most comfortable of the trip, there was hot water and the plumbing worked. Lol. We got great service and 1 evening had dinner there, a delicious lamb tajine. Note: you need to let them know by 4PM if you want dinner, but though we didn’t do that they accommodated us with a small delicious meal when we checked in. Every morning we enjoyed our breakfast on their remarkable rooftop terrace. The setting and the food was the best breakfast we had for the entire trip. I miss it every day! As others mentioned, the last few alleys leading to the riad are isolated and not for everyone, but we were fine. I’d stay again!

We had a cooking class here organized by Sufyan Dayi and his wonderful team. The experience was beyond amazing. We all took turns helping to prepare the meal which was so wonderfully delicious with fresh ingredients. We ate on the roof top and it was nothing short of magical. I spent an entire week in Morocco and this was one of my favorite experiences. I highly recommend this place not just because it is so beautiful but because of the wonderful people there who make it so.

Stunning Riad with beautiful renovation reflecting the history. The location was great to be able to emerge yourself in the old city, but what truly made our stay was our host Soufiane. The staff Maria and Fatima were wonderful chefs and the food was fresh, clean and catered to our specific requests. Soufiane’s knowledge of language, history and the people along with his hospitality and attention to our specific needs and desires is what has made this trip one I will remember and cherish for decades. Le dar est d'une beauté absolue. Le patio et la terrasse sont les points forts. Il est placé idéalement près de la place seffarine. Soufiane le manager est présent, aimable, chaleureux et de bon conseil. Fatima et Meryem sont des perles. Elles seront aux petits soins pour vous. Les petits déjeuners sont des produits de qualité. Nous nous sommes sentis vraiment accueillis et chouchoutés.

A beautiful place in the middle of the old Fez Medina. We have been warmly welcomed by the manager and all the staff. The place is extremely charming, the rooms are fully equipped and guests can enjoy the sunset from the terrace. We strongly recommend this Riad for any type of traveller.
