Family friendly Hotels in Cabo San Lucas

We were welcomed by the bellboys at the front entrance. Upon arrival, it was an easy 10 minutes to check-in, and were in our room and off to the pool within 30 minutes. The pool was nice and nothing to do with the hotel, but the pool was hot due to the weather being almost 90 degrees and sunny. The service at the pool was great, the workers have such a great attitude and are always willing to help. There is a 2nd pool overlooking the marina with spectacular views of the mountains, water, and yachts along the marina walkway. It is located within 5 minutes of downtown with tons of restaurants, shops, and music from all the nightclubs, as well as live music at some of the outdoor venues. It's very busy on the weekends and less crowded during the week. The hotel offers an all-inclusive package, however, we did not purchase it, but did have breakfast the last day and it was $20.00 USD per person. Overall, a great hotel, and we can't wait to go back !

The facilities were not as clean as expected, and the room condition was hard to call a hotel. The bed was not dusty, which made me uncomfortable. It seems difficult to judge whether it is cost-effective. There seems to be a difference in price depending on the reservation time. There is only one building. It wasn't, and the building structure was a bit complicated, so it took a long time to find a room. I think it would be better to get an escort from the hotel staff. Not a 5 star resort. That's not saying it's not a nice resort, because it is, but 5 star resorts have top notch service. First ding, they don't pick you up at the airport, but you can have them set up transportation for you (at your added expense). The Taxi is $75 each way (I checked Uber and it was $55 and the taxi dude matched that price). We were able to catch a travel van on the way there from the airport for $17 a person. We had an ”executive suite” which was nice, not their best room but probably in the middle. They never changed the bed sheets in the entire 5 day/4 night stay. They made the bed, but never changed the sheets. They have a well stocked fridge and other goodies for a steep price. The problem is moving their crap out if you actually want to use the refrigerator. We were charged ”additional taxes” when we checked out as well. Only like $2-3 a day, but these should have been included in the price. The on-site sushi restaurant was not a good value. They charged us for items we didn't order and watch out for the $4.50 water. Our bill was $200 plus tip for two adults. Each had two margaritas, one appetizer (we had cancled after we told the waiter and he acknowledged, but came anyways) and two entrees. Portions were small, so definitely no ”leftovers”. The good. The included breakfast is excellent. Take advantage of that, eat a late breakfast (breakfast is over at noon, so be there no later than 11am) and that should tide you over until dinner. The location is great. Close to the marina/downtown but just far enough way that it's an easy walk and you stay out of that busyness. Overall, it's a nice 4 star (at best) resort.

Waldorf never ceases to amaze us with their beautiful properties, but their staff made our trip memorable. Raquel Vazquez was our personal concierge, and she was in touch with me months before our arrival to ensure we had a perfect itinerary. I let her know we were coming to celebrate my partner’s birthday and mentioned he likes Formula 1. She arranged for W.A. to make cookies with his name and race cars decorated on them. Beyond thoughtful. Rachel was a text away and always available to answer any questions. Salvador and Victor at Don Manuel’s for breakfast are amazing. Salvador is personable and takes so much pride in his work. The small attention to details made us feel truly special. Salvador had desserts and sides made that weren’t readily available because he knew we were celebrating. Daniel Sanchez at the adults only pool provided remarkable service. He always ensured we had the chairs we wanted with unobstructed views of the ocean. He’d be attentive and also give his guests space. Seeing him was consistently a highlight to our mornings. El Farallon is a beautiful restaurant on the cliff. The sound of the waves crashing with a sunset in the background is picturesque. We went on a sunset cruise on their Dos Mares yacht. I recommend being on the bow of the boat even if you may get splashed a couple times. Great 2.5 hour experience. Thank you to all the staff who made us feel so welcome.

The staff were particularly helpful and super friendly at all times, so that made up for okay amenities (the pool was a bit cold at night and harder to go for a quick swim but we managed). We did love the beds, they were incredibly comfy and the room we got was quiet so we were able to have a restful sleep. The breakfast was okay but I would have loved some veggies that they apparently had at some point, yet never brought back out again. The coffee was pretty solid though, so that was a plus. Lastly, the location was gold-walking distance to all the bars, restaurants and places to book tours. Overall, it fulfilled its purpose for our two-night stay :).

Really enjoyed the Playa Grande more so than I thought I would considering the price was very agreeable. Room was clean and met the needs of my girlfriend and I. The various pools and swim up bars were in excellent condition and the beach access was a plus. Would stay again!

Just don't bother. I booked 2 rooms back in February for our stay in August. I paid the balance a week before the trip. When I arrived I was told that they couldn't verify the deposit I made in February or that I had paid the remaining balance. I showed them proof of both because I printed and saved the documentation for all payments. I was told by the front desk staff (Abraham and Itzel) that they close payments take a day to show up. When I told them I paid a week ago then the story changed. After them rudely telling me multiple times I had to pay $529.47 as an incidental fee whilst the lady next to us was told $200 for her incidental fee, I had enough. They said that they had to call Reservations to confirm which was conveniently closed at the time even though i called reservations 3 times that week to confirm what was needed for check in. My friend brought up to them that their contracts said $100 for incidental fees that we signed and they said their solution for us was for us to hold $200 on one card and $300 on another card implying that they thought we didn't have the money. The whole time the two of them were conversing back and forth in spanish as if I didn't understand them as they did not know that Spanish is actually my first language. At this point I opted to speak to her in Spanish to which she stared at me baffled and then called her manager Michael. Michael told us that they couldn't verify the deposit so we had to pay the money. I asked him why and he said they closed the nooks monthly so it wasn't showing on their screen. I informed him that we paid it in February and showed him proof. Therefore if you close books monthly then you have it. I informed him that I was here and heard Abraham tell the woman next to us that the fee was $200. At which point he told us that we had to paid incidentals of $200 per room and that was all. Upon getting to my room I was disappointed with how dated it was. The restaurant ans bar staff were amazing. I had a great time and much better customer service next door at the Grand Solmar. We came for a group event and all the people at the event had the same or worse experiences. At check out they had their ducks in a row on everything though in order to get money they thought was owed to them. Upon leaving the resort I discovered that I and several others are covered in rashes that appear to be bug bites. I will never stay here again.

Our stay at Corazon Cabo was more of a nightmare than a dream vacation, so much so that we ended up cutting our trip short. The hotel’s tasteful decor and prime location initially seemed to promise an idyllic stay. However, the reality turned out to be quite different, and not in a good way. We were subjected to an intense, incessant push for a timeshare presentation, which felt more like a scam than a genuine opportunity. Despite declining on numerous occasions (well into double digits), the sales pressure from the hotel staff was relentlessly intrusive, turning our supposed relaxing getaway into a stressful experience. The deception didn’t stop there. When we tried to book an activity through the hotel, we discovered that they attempted to charge a higher price than listed, and once again, tried to rope us into their timeshare program. These unscrupulous practices left us questioning the hotel’s business integrity. Further dampening our experience was the hotel’s decision to turn off the AC in the common areas during periods of low occupancy. This cost-cutting measure, carried out without consideration for guest comfort on sweltering hot days, was a glaring indication of the hotel’s disregard for guest experience. Room comfort was another area where Corazon Cabo failed to meet expectations. Despite the visual appeal of the room, we were plagued with a leaky shower that led to a persistently damp bathroom floor - an inconvenience that felt even more egregious given the high per-night cost of the room. Given the host of disappointments we experienced at Corazon Cabo, we ultimately decided to cut our trip short and change our flight to head home a day early. This was an unfortunate conclusion to a vacation that had promised so much. In summary, while Corazon Cabo might lure in guests with its attractive facade and desirable location, our stay was marred by persistent, high-pressure sales tactics, questionable business ethics, and a disregard for guest comfort. Until these serious issues are addressed, I would strongly recommend prospective visitors to look elsewhere for their stay in Cabo.

We loved most everything about this place! Great location. Walking distance to beach and nightlife. Great staff! Only thing...we wished for more vegan options.
