The front desk also upgraded the room from Block B to Block A. The room type was also very good. The interior was spacious and comfortable. The bathing space was large.
The hotel smelled good. The toiletries also smelled good. The breakfast was also very rich.

Zhili Governor-General's Office is 1.8 kilometre from the hotel .a short walk to many food and shopping canter .staffs are extremely helpful and friendly .their manager provided many travel information for us.we did approach them later at night when it is less busy for the staff,They were always patient.by the way,the room is clean and the breakfast is good ,If you're not used to Chinese food,you can choose the bread ,jam ,butter,fruit ,coffee ,egg and some cold dish.you can taste HUNDUN, like Chinese dumplings. What makes me uncomfortable is that their carpets are a bit worn out,Overall the hotel is very nice and good value."

"I booked a suite and was very satisfied with my stay. I used to always stay in five-star hotels, but the service and amenities varied greatly from region to region, and I often encountered problems despite the high prices. "This hotel stay really exceeded my expectations! From the moment I walked in, the front desk staff were incredibly welcoming and enthusiastic. JjerembWe had a wonderful family stay at Zhuozheng hotel. Rooms are clean and spacious. We had dinner at the Chinese restaurant and was amazed by the food. Breakfast buffet is also very good and diverse. Thanks to manager Niu Xue Mei who was very helpful and upgraded us to a family room. For me the best hotel in Baoding!

LLuquanliuruThis is absolutely a hidden gem! I was driving from Jinan to Datong, planning a two-day trip, and decided to stop in Laiyuan for a rest. I never expected to find such a beautiful courtyard; I didn't want to go back inside while strolling around. The owners, a husband and wife, were incredibly welcoming and patient, and they had a whole yard full of flowers and plants, including a century-old peony. They even bought some local specialties for breakfast, which was delicious and very satisfying. In the evening, I watched the large-scale light show with iron flower fireworks and water jetpack performances at Laiyuan Lake, along with a band performance. I didn't feel tired even after playing until 10 pm. It was even more fun than a planned trip! I regret not taking more photos of the guesthouse; it was very clean. I would definitely come back again.

From the moment we stepped into the lobby, we were greeted with a sense of warmth and genuine hospitality. The front desk staff were incredibly thoughtful and attentive.
The hotel also provides a complimentary fruit platter, which was a very nice and thoughtful touch. The room is well equipped with a capsule coffee machine, and there is even a washing machine inside the room, making the stay especially convenient for families and longer visits.
Another major highlight is the room layout. In addition to the bedroom, there is a separate small living area. This design is a big plus — my husband can watch TV or work in the living space without disturbing my rest, which greatly enhances comfort and privacy.
Overall, whether it was the attention to detail at the front desk, the comfort and quality of the accommodation, or the excellent food and beverage service, this hotel truly delivered on all fronts. It’s absolutely an ideal choice for business or families traveling with children, and we would highly recommend Citadines to anyone visiting Baoding.

Uuljjatxa121I stayed for two nights during the Qingming Festival, and the service was excellent. After booking, a butler contacted me to register my car plate number and other details. The hotel's location is fantastic, right next to a mall with plenty of dining, entertainment, and shopping options. It's also just a few kilometers' drive from Xiong'an Xinma Forest Park. Let's talk about the facilities first: I went with my child, and there's a playground in B1. They even added an extra 'naughty castle' during the holiday, which my child absolutely loved. The children's play area is quite small, really only suitable for one to two-year-olds to play in briefly. The two building block tables had a limited number of toys, so I'd suggest adding more. There are also some electronic entertainment facilities that require tokens to play. There are two heated children's pools, but they are a bit small. I wouldn't recommend going if it's crowded, as it would be like 'dumplings in a pot.'
Next, breakfast: if you go around 9 AM, you'll have to queue for about 15 minutes, but they opened two restaurants, so the efficiency was still decent. I only had breakfast at the Chinese restaurant. The variety wasn't extensive, and the taste was average, but it was sufficient.
Finally, the rooms: we stayed on the 8th floor and booked two rooms. One of them still had a bit of a new renovation smell. After I mentioned it to the butler, they promptly brought an air purifier and even a fruit plate as an apology. Anyway, the service was quite reassuring. I'll definitely stay here again when the weather gets warmer.

The next day's wisdom vegetable garden and picking were surprises. The strawberries were particularly delicious and picked a lot. Two days and one night were full and happy. GGuest UserIt exceeded my expectations. This newly opened B&B has facilities comparable to a 4.5-star hotel with everything you need. Because it was the off-season, the owner upgraded us to a lake view room. The terrace faces Yishui Lake, and there is an infinity pool in summer. The view is great. The homestay has a billiard room, a table tennis room, a KTV, a naughty castle for children to play, etc., and a dopamine courtyard, which is perfect for a family weekend vacation. The boss was also very nice. We wanted to buy some mineral water but he gave us a lot instead. It was a very satisfying vacation. It was quiet, not crowded, and the stray cats around were quite friendly. It is a Feng Shui treasure land with simple folk customs. Summer will come again.

GGuest UserThis hotel was exceptional - the room was very clean, modern, and bright. The breakfast was also very extensive in selection - I'm a vegetarian and I had no problem finding things to eat. What stood out the most, though, was the service. From the concierge and dining / room service staff, to the housekeeping team, everyone was incredibly sweet, smiled a lot and went out of their way to be helpful. It's the best service I've received in a hotel anywhere in the world. Thank you to Able and Mark, and all of the other staff whose names I didn't manage to catch!
