I have stayed here several times before within the last year for business & this hotel is a decent value; amenities included are free breakfast for 2 guests per room, free wifi, access to hot water 24/7 during your stay, pool, & fitness center. The main reason I have stayed here frequently within the past year is because I work at TJ Maxx in Fairview Heights, IL & I live 40 minutes away & is 1 of the closest hotels. The main things to keep in mind are rooms don't include a microwave or mini fridge because it's an older hotel, but there is a microwave in the downstairs kitchen area the front desk staff are more than happy to let guests use. This hotel also faces a major highway where many people commute to/from St. Louis, MO frequently, so rooms can be very noisy if your room is on the right of the highway facing traffic & you're not used to sleeping through it like me, you may not the best sleep quality. Breakfast is good & guests can choose from scrambled eggs, sausage, juice, yogurt, bagels, potatoes on some mornings, cereal & whole milk, etc.

It’s a pretty good hotel, I stayed here for one night, clean and good, breakfast does not have many choices!

Worst Hampton Inn we have ever stayed in. So happy that we were just needing a place to sleep before continuing our trip. The reception desk personnel were never there, had to ring the bell and wait every time we stopped by, and that was often due to the room situation. There was no soap at the bathroom sink, there were two small bottles of hair conditioner there. The dispensers in the shower were all empty, no shampoo, conditioner, or body wash. Luckily we had our own shampoo and conditioner and when we went to the front desk to request soap, she looked and looked and finally came up with a full sized bar of Dial soap which was fine. The room wasn’t very clean, hairs in the tub and tissue on the bathroom floor. Also the breakfast buffet was open until 10:00, but at 9:20 am, the powdered eggs were all gone and the serving dishes were cold. They were decent waffles, but when I asked for butter, the reply was, “We don’t have none.” The price point was low , so I guess we got what we paid for, not much….Hilton management should look into this property.

Horrible, disgusting hotel! We came in for a funeral and assumed a Hampton would be a good choice, boy we were wrong. Rooms are dirty, front desk person was so rude, scotch tape holding the elevator button in place. Don’t stay here! Had to change hotels it was so gross. Hilton, if this is a representation of your hotels, I think we will opt for the Marriot next time.

Over the past 15 years I have stayed at numerous hotels each year due to my heavy involvement in travel softball. Hampton Inn becamse my hotel of choice the last few years and have always had positive stays all over the midwest. Last weekend I reservered a king room w/ sofa sleeper for my wife and daughters in the Fairview Heights location. This was the worst eperience my family has ever had at a Hampton. Got there and was give a different room that what was reserved w/ no sofa. Man checking in behind us was told they didn't have a room for him even though he had made a reservation and paid already. No towels in room, no soap in shower and the night manager didn't have a key to get us soap. Very disappointed.

When we arrived we found that the tv had no remote. The room was dirty and smelled funky. When showering, we found the soap and shampoo dispensers were empty. The tub didn’t drain so you stood in water to your ankles! Gross! There was only one wash cloth. There was no toilet paper holder. So the TP just sat on the counter. We only stayed 1 night and won’t be back!

This Hilton is an utter disappointment, barely deserving the name. It feels more like a run-down Motel 6 or a Super 8 than a reputable Hilton property. I stayed here for three days with a large group of friends, and it was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. First, the rooms were appallingly dirty. The sheets had noticeable stains, which I reluctantly ignored, hoping it was an isolated issue. Unfortunately, it was just the beginning. One of my friends had a room with a bathtub that wouldn’t drain, leaving them to shower in ankle-deep water. When we reported the issue, the hotel staff nonchalantly informed us that they couldn’t switch the room and didn’t have any maintenance staff available until after our stay ended. The disregard for guest comfort and hygiene was shocking. Another friend’s room reeked of cigarette smoke, despite the supposed non-smoking policy. It was as if the rooms hadn’t been properly cleaned or aired out in weeks. The lack of basic services was just as frustrating. There was zero room service, none. I had to reuse the same towel for three days because housekeeping didn’t bother to provide fresh ones. The beds weren’t made even once during our stay. It felt like we were staying in a neglected, budget roadside motel rather than a hotel that’s part of a renowned global chain. Honestly, I’m baffled as to how Hilton allows this location to tarnish its brand name. The standards here are so low that I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, even in an emergency. Save your money and go elsewhere, where at least the basics of cleanliness and customer service are respected.

Do not recommend this Hampton Inn. It was old and needed to be renovated. Fan in bathroom made a terrible noise when turned on light. No refrigerators or microwave in queen rooms. Door was hard opening and closing. We ended up changing hotels for rest of our stay.

Front staff was unfriendly. The door needed a hard push to open. There were no cups, ice bag, & tissue we had to request them. The bathtub did not drain. We stood in ankle deep water. The room had 1 wash cloth and hand towel but 5 bath towels. The freezer was frozen in a block of ice, with an ice pack stuck in the ice. The couch smelt of dogs. The tv had 9 viewing channels. Even though there appeared to be more channels, the screen was blank. The pool was temporarily closed. Breakfast is from 6 - 10. At 8:40, there were no eggs, bagels, bread, danishes, or milk for cereal. The staffs reply to the poor Breakfast was, "we have a truck that is coming." I will not recommend this hotel to anyone! This statement is coming from a Hilton Diamond Member.
