Brackenridge Lodge

Liked the overall quietness and location. Not very strong internet connection, though; probably due to the location of the lodge. It is surrounded by trees.

I have stayed at Brackenridge twice. The first visit was with another person, and we stayed in a suite. The second visit was by myself, and I stayed in a standard room. I preferred the suite for the following reasons. More than one of the wall outlets in the room did not work. I had to unplug the lamp in order to plug in my laptop. The bathroom had a step up, which I was not expecting. Having a bad knee, this was a challenge for me, but I made it work. I had a difficult time getting connected to and holding wifi. This may have been just the room I was in, however I seem to remember having this trouble during my first stay as well. Other than those few things, it was a nice place to stay. The gentleman who arrived me was polite and helpful. The room was comfortable and quiet. The location is great. I will stay here again, but I will ask for a different standard room if I am by myself again.

They should offer dresser to the people that stay there.other then everything was good.

We were happy we chose this complex to spend a couple of stress free and great nights of rest, relaxation, and sleep. The room was delightful and so very clean, parking was easy too. The area around the facility is stunningly wooded and hilly yet we were not swarmed with insects! Better then our yard at home!! The owners were very kind people and knowledgeable about the area, we couldn't have found a more lovely place to stay. There was a picnic table we used that had a most scenic view. It was also very close to the historic downtown, which is a whole new adventure. The place was on the trolley line I think.

Love this place, look forward to staying again!!!!
