The hotel is good. The room type is a suite model, with one large bed inside and two large beds outside. There is a door separating the inside and outside. It is very suitable for a large family to stay in. There is only one bathroom.

Staff was friendly and very helpful. The hot breakfast was good with changing selections each day and very clean. The rooms are older, pillows are decent. Television remote and channel selection was lacking. Room selection and reservations were great, lots of choices and easy.

This BW Plus is truly one of my new favorites! When we checked in, it was a wonderful experience and I was upgraded to a room with sauna tub because Zac overheard me say I was having back spasms. BEST thing ever! We only had planned to stay one night on our way home from a long travel to Canada, but the room and the property and the staff made it feel SO much like a vacation destination, we stayed another night. Convenient to 2 restaurants (Mexican and Ribs) , near a walkway along the inlet bay, and plenty of parking. AND the breakfast was no doubt one of the best I've had at a breakfast included BW. THANK YOU EVERYONE!

This is a truck stop hotel … with the side streets filled with 18 wheelers with their engines running. We had a reservation, checked in, given room 121 (a room hidden in an external hallway it smelled, stained carpet, dark) we turned to office was given room 103 (again dark stains in the carpet, smelled of urine, sound of diesel engined running), was shown a 3rd room on the second floor (same horrible conditions). Lastly was offered their best suite on the 3rd floor … again … large stain on carpet as we entered, bathtub in the middle of the unit, smelled …. We got a refund and when down the road to the holiday inn express …

We stayed for one night. Welcome was friendly and informative. There is a pool though we didn’t really have time to use it for our quick stopover. Our room was well equipped with toiletries, hairdryer, ironing board, coffee machine etc. Breakfast was fine (it would have been good to have real plates and crockery rather than disposable).

It was a very nice stay, the employees were awesome to talk to and gave lots of information. The koi pond was very tranquil feeling, I was wishing we had known about it the night earlier. There is a restaurant close by the property that show your room card and you will get 10% off. But be careful the restaurant will have the credit card fee on it, before even knowing if you are paying by cash or card.

The room was very nice and the hot tub was perfect! The check in staff were helpful and professional. I also liked the breakfast, it was delicious and filling. I think the value of the Bayshore Inn is worth every penny. I’ve always stayed in Arcata and now this will be my base when going to the North Coast.
