Pros: - friendly staff - clean and spacious room - quiet room - no traffic noise - free parking - nice surroundings with a little pond - close to the city center (within walking distance) Cons: - breakfast was not replenished in a timely manner Info: Safeway supermarket is only round about 300m away.

Very peaceful and great location. The room was spacious & clean. We had a great time during our 3 day stay. Breakfast is very minimal but it will get you started. We loved the seeing the elk both in the morning and evening. We would definitely come back and safe again.

Every box was filled! Clean and nicely renovated rooms and bathrooms with nice details, including great towels and beds! Rooms have fridge, microwave and balconies with a view of the mountains and golf course. Had a problem with our tv and we promptly had two nice men on the spot to respond.

We always try to secure a fireplace room when cooler out. The rooms are always clean, and we appreciate it. The property has been around a while, but it's really well maintained, next door to the 9-hole golf course - other than an occasional slow drain. Due to some new rulings, they are no longer able to serve a hot breakfast as they do not have a commercial kitchen.

Booked one room and got another! Booked our Double Queen Balcony top floor room with a view of the pond and mountains in August , paid premium price $300, Booked through the hotel itself to make sure we got the room we wanted. Hotel states free breakfast, hot tub open through October 1. Checked in Today , September 30 at 3:55 pm. Check in time is 4:00 pm. They did not have my balcony top floor room. Put me in a basic budget double Queen bottom floor by the ice machine and trash with the view of my car and people walking outside my room. I looked online and the room they gave me is advertised at $135. People stomping over the ceiling. No balcony. Hot tub is locked. No breakfast or waffles as advertised. I asked for a room change to what I paid for and they said it is not refundable and they are fully booked and I had no other options. I showed them the email with my room description. Still would not give me the room I paid for as the other people arrived first. I asked for the budget room price as I don’t want to pay for what I did not get. They said they can’t accommodate that. Just sad that a hotel would do this to travelers. I live 1.5 hours away. Drove home and will be disputing the charges with my bank.

Rustic, but clean and comfortable. Great view from our room too! Great water pressure, extra hot water too! Had frequent elk sightings the whole stay. Only issue was entrance to motel was a bit chaotic due to some construction.

Not a fancy place, but it was as I expected it to be based on pictures and reviews here. The double queen room we had was spacious, with a couch, small cafe style table, fireplace (wood burning I think, too warm for it either way), microwave and fridge. It was clean and cool when we walked in on a warm day (AC was pumping, it was warm in the checkin area which made me nervous about our room at first). Our room did smell a little funny though, not bad per se, almost stuffy like. Location was not in the heart of Estes Park, but it was still very close to everything (less than 15 minutes from the RMNP entrance, going past the downtown area).

Outdated with smell and no view as requested. Had to leave early and booking requested a refund of one night and no response from hotel. Hot tub smelled bad. Sliding door was only entry and it felt unsafe for me. I would definitely look elsewhere
