We have stayed at other Ikos resorts and this is our second time at the wonderful resort of Ikos Andalusia. We like it so much that we’ve already booked a family holiday for 2025 to celebrate my wife’s milestone birthday. A particular highlight is the wonderful lunchtime dining experience at the Chiringuito Restaurant on the beach which specialises in Mediterranean cuisine. Everything about it shouts quality - the location, the setting, the friendly and efficient staff and , of course, a wide range of Mediterranean dishes expertly cooked and presented. It truly is memorable.

Rain - and Ikos falls to bits. Does it not rain in Spain? Sunloungers and theatre seating were all left out in the rain and were completely unusable. It’s totally unacceptable that you expect guests paying this amount to sit about on waterlogged sunloungers and seating (theatre) - why were these not moved overnight as almost every other hotel does when it rains?? We had to move them and sit on the extremely uncomfortable hard slats. Bath mats were put at the top of all the stairs I’m assuming in some attempt to… actually I don’t know what these were supposed to do. These weren’t non slip mats and they were all bunched up and scattered randomly about - my husband tripped over one on our arrival. I have no idea how there wasn’t a bad accident. It would have been safer not to put them out given the tripping hazard they posed. Rain and just about everything cancelled - particularly annoying were the theatre shows - they were on twice in 7 days and then we were expected to sit on the wet seating covers. On other days cancelled or moved but rarely was information given on this so you would turn up and it just wasn’t on. All beach activities cancelled - though it seems these are also at an extra cost. They ran a bus to puero buenas from 10-1 when everything is closed except the department store ‍♀️ My children (boys)are 12 and 8 and even if it hadn’t rained they would have been bored, there is no entertainment team just kids club doing fashion shows and bracelet making. The hotel is geared towards people with babies and toddlers (or if you are paying extra again for football camp which I note didn’t get cancelled in the rain ). There are a lot of very young children so if this isn’t your thing don’t go! Service wasn’t great - cold breakfast , missing food, no sugar, salt, spoons etc. this wasn’t just once but over and over again. Beach club - we gave up trying to get a coffee as the one member of staff we did manage to chase down told us it’s wasn’t his job. On every occasion at beach club at breakfast the food was cold and we heard numerous people complain but give up trying to find staff and leave. Buffet - we were dumped at a table and the staff literally ran off - we had no clue what to do. In other restaurants we had to ask for menus and the wait in some restaurants was ridiculous. On more than one occasion meals came at different times so I was eating after the rest of family had finished. Lift was broken for a couple of days and when it wasn’t it was generally used by staff to move trolleys etc. staff were building cots out in the hallway at the top of the stairs. Handling of allergies was basic at best. I can get more relevant information at Greggs - I really expected better. No written information available anywhere - you have to rely on having a good memory at the buffet as you are walked along and told at rapid succession what is and isn’t ok - after you have chased around to find someone to do this! It’s far from a relaxing experience.

Fantastisk hotel med den bedste all inclusive ever. Så mange lækre restauranter at vælge imellem og det venligste personale. Værelserne var lækre, gode senge og flot indretning. Skønne pools og dejlig strand.

The hotel, drinks/food /service is absolutely amazing, all the staff work so hard to ensure you have an amazing holiday, I would recommend doing the wine tasting with sia and her team , sia then followed our nightly dinner reservations and recommended wines for us to try that the waiters would serve for us to try making sure there was champagne to start the attention to detail of this just blew us away never have I had that much attention and service Thankyou Sia and all the staff at Ikos Andalusia for making our holiday amazing, can’t wait to come back

Outstanding hotel with great service . Our second visit to Ikos Andalusia having also visited Ikos Aria . We are couple in our early / mid 60’s . Service levels are exceptional and if you have any issues they are quickly and professionally addressed . We very much enjoy the long boardwalk (Paseo Maritimo ) which enables walking or Cycling into Estepona or a few miles towards Marbella . All of the staff we interacted with were great with some going above and beyond and exceeded our expections . The stars of the show for us were Marcos who looked after us from the initial greeting until we left 14 nights later . Sia who presented the wine tasting and from then on made sure we had interesting and complimenting wines . with every evening meal . Anna and her team in Fresco were enjoyed breakfast most mornings , the green smoothie bowl was a hit particularly with added blueberries. Antonia in Olivia was truly outstanding and her team amazing we thoroughly enjoyed dining there and cancelled Seasons to dine there on our last night . We were fortunate with the weather having 12 of our 14 days sunny and only the last two slightly impacted by some rain but we were still able to walk and cycle . The shows we saw were very enjoyable and another hit for us was the Chirigito with Darko and his staff . Now trying to detox !! Great holiday and keep up the great work .

Wonderful stay even in the rain they did all they could to give us entertainment and to look after our 5 year old daughter. The concession trips to local areas were great and helped us to explore Andalusia and the food was excellent in every restaurant unlimited everything nothing too much trouble thank you for everything looking forward to more Ikos experiences. Stand out people Josh at the beach lovely boy, gentle soul and spoke to us very nicely and Patricia in the spa lovely massage. Thank you kids entertainment team too!

October saw our third visit to ikos Andalusia, this time with family in tow. A lovely stay had by all but I don’t feel the holiday matched up to the magic of our first visit. Pros The resort itself is gorgeous, landscaped beautifully. WhatsApp concierge was very responsive & helpful. Great variety of places to eat. Friendliness of staff, always with a smile & a hello. Location is great for venturing outside the resort. Kids shows in the evening were great, thoroughly enjoyed by my toddler. Cons Some decor starting to look a little worse for wear, some items (loungers, sofas etc) could do with a bit of TLC. Quality of food has noticeably fallen & menus lack the diversity the used to. A lot of restaurants seem to have a different variation of the same dish. Lack of entertainment is something I’ve mentioned after each stay - they could do with a bit more going on through the day. Bar service the slowest we’ve experienced, especially the main lobby and pool bar. Materials used in and around swimming pools is a danger for little feet - my son ended up with multiple cuts on his feet just from a day at the pool. We were already booked to come back in May and while I’m looking forward to our stay, I think it may be our last ikos visit for a while, time to explore new resorts. Unfortunately although ikos andalusia is still a fantastic resort the quality isn’t matching the increased prices and the gap is widening between cost and value.

My husband and I recently returned to Ikos Andalusia after staying just a few days last year. It was even better than I remembered! The resort is spotless and everywhere is just simply stunning. We had excellent food throughout and also managed to take in a couple of shows which were fantastic. First and foremost though, I cannot give enough praise to the staff who deliver the highest level of customer service I have ever experienced. They simply cannot do enough for you and seem to genuinely enjoy going above and beyond to make your stay the best it can be. It was a really relaxing holiday coupled with wonderful people, this is somewhere I will be returning to again and again and again! Thank you Ikos!
