"The hotel is well located on the waterfront with a beautiful park outside the hotel along the waterfront. The food in the western restaurant attached to the hotel is very delicious, with fresh and steak from the sea, the ribeye steak and weekly seafood soup I ordered were great! If you drive Western Australia to visit here, especially to Esperance and Cape Le Grand beaches are very beautiful."

"The experience at the Esperance Bay Holiday Park Hotel is more of a contradictory combination: the natural surroundings are a plus, but the accommodation experience is a minus. Its highlights are concentrated on the exterior: the spacious two-bedroom bungalows are within a 2km walk of West Beach, and the surrounding free beaches offer excellent sunrise viewing spots, with natural scenery even more photogenic than Lucky Bay. For travelers who enjoy being close to the coast, the location itself has a "scenic buff." However, the accommodation itself has significant shortcomings: the facilities are extremely inadequate—only the living room has air conditioning, and it wasn't turned on before check-in, resulting in the room remaining stuffy at night; basic amenities are severely lacking, with no slippers, tissues, or even shower gel and shampoo provided, only a bar of soap, which is very unfriendly to business travelers or short-stay guests. The hotel is also far from the city center, compromising its accessibility. Overall, this hotel is more suitable for travelers who are driving and bring their own toiletries, using it as a "seaside base" to enjoy the surrounding scenery; those expecting the comfort and convenience of a standard hotel will likely be disappointed. After all, its advantage lies in "borrowing natural light," but the accommodation experience itself is indeed difficult to match basic expectations."

Rac Esperance Holiday Park ★★★

"This was our first visit to Esperance and we highly recommend the RAC Holiday Park. We stayed in a two-bedroom Bay Villa #17 which faces onto the main street/beach. The cabin was very clean, well-appointed, with fresh decor and decent matresses. Check-in/out was smooth. Location: attractive landscaping, accessible paths, a nice beach out front, but it's not easy walking distance to any shops or town centre. The only reason we haven't given a rating of Excellent 5/5 is due to parking and affordability. There was only one carpark allocated to the unit, with no general carparking nearby. Our party had two cars so we were lucky the holiday park wasn't full; we used an empty carpark, otherwise the second car would have had to park a distance away (by the main reception area or outside on the street). We paid $1254 for 3 nights @ $418/night which included a discount for RAC members. Depending on the day/season, rates can vary from $344 to $595 per night. Given that Esperance is a long-haul drive from anywhere, most travellers with families would want to stay more than 3-4 nights and are restricted to school holidays. Although the villas are fresh and with good park amenities, it is ultimately just a self-catering unit. We were able to share the cost with family which made it more affordable. The higher end rates would amount to quite an expense for a single family (2x adults/2-3x kids) with a bill of nearly $3000 for a 5-night stay during school holidays/peak season. Hopefully the tent/caravan sites are more affordable. Other than this, we were very impressed by the Park and would highly recommend the villas if your budget can stretch to that!"

"It’s a good location and the size is great for a family. The apartment was clean and there was everything required within the apartment including tea, coffee, milk, washing powder, soap ect. There is no onsite office and the management takes an hour to reply to any queries. This apartment was advised as having a pool. The pool was closed due to health regulations. ??? Unsure what was the problem, We were not advised prior to arrival and there was no sign on pool gate. Just the gate was locked. The pool remained closed the 4 days we were there. I’d give it 3.5 stars out of 5 for Esperance accommodation."
