DO NOT STAY HERE! We showed up to check in to our room. The lobby was full of people, loud, and smelled. We waited 10 minutes behind one guest trying to check in. They left mad. We went up to check in only to find out our room was not available. I had booked it the previous day online. Saw the trip in my profile, and had my email confirmation. I was told by the front desk the room had been given away to a soccer event and another employee would come to assist me in sorting things out. Another employee eventually shows up after a much too long of a wait and seemed to not want to address anything. He could not explain why our room was given away. He couldn't help us find another room. He couldn't refund me after having already been charged. He couldn't call the manager. There was no manager on site to refund us on the spot. Needless to say, this is the single worst experience I've ever had at a hotel. Absolutely abysmal service, lack of responsibility, and no courtesy (you charged us, can't refund it, AND gave our room away?!?!?). I will make a point to avoid this hotel and and make any Marriott property my last choice for lodgings. What a horrible experience.
