What was very good? Weather Cleanliness AI drinks selection Transfer time from airport; (if it hadnt been Triathlon day and taken 2 hours) Location What was Good? Pools; (would be very good if inflatables allowed) Sunbed availability Three large terraces for sunbathing Mostly pleasant staff What needs improving? The rooms on floors 1-4. Apparently floors 5&6 are better. Been a very long time since we have stayed in such a dated room: yellow pine, woodchip wallpaper, cracked tiles, grout around base of toilet in a terrible state and stained YELLOW...eeeew! No net on balcony doors so on the first floor we either sat in gloom or opened the curtains and everyone could see in. No shower gel the whole holiday. Didnt they think the two people staying there would wash?? Asked the guy at reception who didnt know what i wanted and called the woman, who gave me 5 sachets of pine scented shampoo!! The food...oh the food. Repetitive repetitive repetitive. Its a small dining room so a small selection compared to a lot of hotels. Pork or fish almost every day. Cheapest cuts of meat on the bone. Even chicken escalope had bones in!! The clientele..not exactly Gods Waiting Room but the room next door. LOTS of couples come every year. One said theyd been there every year for 13 years!!! Staff bias. Its all very clique-y. If the staff know you then you can do no wrong. Pathetic rules. No inflatables in the pool due to 'Health & Safety'. One 10yo girl floating sedately along on a plain lilo...nope, get it out. Me, bobbing gently in a flowery inflatable ring...nope. Both times the only person in the pool! Water polo raucously played with hard ball...no problem. Gav the chav dives noisily in the pool near the No Diving sign under the nose of the lifeguard ( guy with a bun in hishair)...no problem. Foam party leaving a large area of floor tiles treacherously slippery...no problem. ------------ The area is lovely but we wont be returning to the Ereso.
