I just want to tell you what an incredible experience my family and I had at your hotel. We were in Antigua from the 27th of July until the 4th of August. The day of our departure our flight was cancelled due to weather in the USA. We found your hotel through ******* and only intended to stay one night in the hopes that we would be on the next flight out on the 5th. As things unfolded we could not get out of Antigua until the 9th. We made Admirals Inn our home for the next 5 days. I say home, because that is how your staff treats this place. Not only do they treat it as if it were their home, but they make the guests feel the same. We felt as if we were staying at a friend’s house rather than a beautiful hotel. The location, the rooms, the landscape, are all incredible. As a business owner myself I can’t tell you how impressed I am with the staff. From the minute we stepped on the grounds Shama made us feel comforted, and relieved all of our anxieties from a stressful day. She has a very calming and confident demeanor. I knew from that moment we were at the right place. There doesn’t seem to be any rank pulling and everyone helps where needed. I couldn’t believe that Paul works the desk, drives the guests to and from the Gunpowder suites, clears tables at Pillar’s, makes reservations for future guests, and he even collects the dirty towels from the pool. Reggie is not only a bartender but also takes dinner orders, clears tables, etc. Sherren, who works at Boom restaurant, took care of us from the moment we met her, it was as if we knew each other for decades. She not only helped with service at Booms, but took care of our laundry and any other needs we had during our stay. The ferry boat captains are working to keep the grounds clean as well as shuttling us over to anywhere we needed, unbelievable service and people. The one thing that stands out more than anything is how concerned the entire staff was for us and our situation. Because I would be here longer than expected, my blood pressure meds were going to run out. Paul went above and beyond to make sure I got what I needed. He had enough medicine delivered to me the very next day. But what struck me the most was that every staff member asked me how I was feeling and knew that Paul had secured my meds for me. You have a true team that works as one. I can’t express how much I appreciate this. It all starts at the top and that is a testament to your leadership. I am humbled by this entire experience. I need to mention the 2 restaurants Pillars and Boom. The food at those two restaurants is delicious! For 7 days we had mediocre food at another resort and were underwhelmed by the overall experience. We ate at Pillars 3 nights and Booms 4 days for lunch. We must have tried a new dish every time and never left disappointed, in fact we talked about how great each meal was after we left. Melinda at Pillars is genuinely one of the nicest people I have met through all my travels. She knew how anxi

Lovely hotel in a great location. Really historic building, super friendly and helpful staff, pool with a view. It is situated on 2 sides of an inlet and you get a boat from one side to the other. The same boat takes you to a really lovely local beach. The restaurant was good although I thought the breakfast a bit overpriced. And a special mention for their good treatment of solo travellers, I felt very comfortable. The hotel is in Nelson’s Harbour which normally you have to pay to get into, I found I could wander round the whole thing, and go into the museum, without a ticket, so that is a plus. The only reason I didn’t give this a 5 star review was the room was pretty small with quite low beams. The bathroom was also very small and ther was quite a big step down from the shower which was slightly tricky when wet.

Charming boutique hotel set in converted historic buildings within UNESCO Heritage site of Nelson’s Dockyard. Part of hotel lies across the inlet so a free hotel ferry shuttles you across the water whenever you want, plus will take you to the fabulous Galleon beach around the headland. Friendly staff. Lovely breakfasts. Pretty grounds set beside the waters edge.

We spent eight nights here in April. We had been for lunch a couple of years ago and decided the hotel would make a good holiday base, being in the beautiful Nelson's Dockyard and close to the restaurants and general life of English Harbour. All worked out as planned: the hotel was as nice as we expected, with a high quality room, the food was great (both in the main restaurant and Boom across the water), the boat transfers worked very well, and the staff were all very welcoming and friendly. We'd thoroughly recommend this hotel.

I’m not sure anything I write could do justice to describe how incredible this place is. Beautiful location, clean rooms, great amenities, but hands down the staff are the best thing about Admiral’s Inn. As a solo female I felt welcomed and safe. It’s in a great location that not only has a ton of history and picturesque views, but is convenient to a grocery store and plenty of restaurants. The two on-site restaurants are amazing. After this trip I’m not sure I’d ever want to stay anywhere else when I visit Antigua again! Highly recommend!

What can we say a fantastic place to stay. We stayed room only in a harbour view room with a patio. The room was large with plenty of space and the bonus of the patio was great. We ate breakfast a couple of times but did think it was overpriced. The staff though make this place at both the hotel and over at the pool were great and we had such a laugh with them (I wonder if they have worked out my card trick!). Nice walk from here into the town with some nice places to eat. If we come back to the island then would stay here again.

The place was magical, the service was exceptional, the ambience, the food was delicious. everything was just breathtaking. I absolutely love the way in which they used the historical artifacts to make a restaurant so it will be worth it when you do try it.

My wife and I loved our stay at Admiral’s Inn. We thought the hotel property and views were stunning (the original building, the pillars dining area, boom and the pool) and quite unique. We were even more impressed by the quality of the service at the hotel. We found every member of staff we spoke to from front desk to cleaners to restaurant staff to be extremely warm and friendly. Being on honeymoon we really appreciated the lengths they went to to make our visit feel special. The champagne and flowers in the room and waterside table with flowers on the first evening will live long in our memories. Our standard room on the top floor of the original building was small but met our expectations given what we’d read on the website. To us, the character of the building more than made up for the lack of space. The availability of snorkelling gear and a free shuttle boat to galleon beach were the icing on the cake. A great stay overall.
