This place could easily be a 5 (excellent), but I agree with the overall 4 (still very good) star rating. The Great: The property, lobby, food places, bar, etc.. are beautiful. I have stayed at more expensive places that impressed me less in this regard than the Inverness. Top notch. Check in was super easy, and the front end staff was very friendly. The Good: Our room, was super clean. The beds were quite comfortable and lots of drawers to unpack your clothes. The priced was very reasonable for a place like this. Not-So-Good; The paint on the wall in our room was scuffed, and the toilet would keep running sometimes after a flush. To fix it we had to open the tank lid and adjust the stopper, we noticed it was quite moldy. I noticed several other little things like this around the hotel. There is bottled water in the room, but a $5 price tag too. We had some drinks at the bar, I was charged over $12 for a class of house wine out of a tap, that was mediocre at best. Bad: The person who handled wedding bookings was totally unresponsive when we tried to take advantage of the offer to add a night to our stay. Numerous phone calls and e-mails went un responded to. The manager finally stepped in and, a month after my first call, finally got a day added.. at a higher price than if I simply booked a night before my stay for a wedding. Something I noted but it went unheard. We were not offered any sort of apology or room upgrade. Bottom line: The place is very nice and I would recommend it.
