Emeishan Sanhejia Hotel

I booked 1 night at this hotel just before I ascended Jinding. After a gruelling hike from Baguo temple it was such a nice surprise to stay at this hotel. We arrived at around 9PM and we were able to still order dinner and it was so tasty! The first hot meal of the day for us! After that I took a rest and then saw that my room was full of mosquitos (I left the lights on and the window open) so I went downstairs to call for help. The owners were so nice to help me get rid of the mosquitos and then I joined her downstairs for a minute. The room itself was very clean and the bed was nice too. Totally recommend this hotel!

Hotel located next to bus station very convenient. Hotel room view is fantastic during winter, snowy views. Hotel foods were nice but a little pricey considered the location in mountain so ok for me.

Obviously great location close to the top of the mountain, great window view into the distance but right outside a bit of a garbage patch. Comfortable bed, warm in November. Shower was jumping between freezing cold and boiling hot. Got a small lunch bag at check-in.

Small rest house with a restaurant at ground level (refer to attached photo). Next to the mid hill shuttle bus terminal linking to cable car station. Small bathroom with hot shower. Need to be careful to prevent excessive water flowing out of the door into the room floor. Suggest to install a low barrier at the front bottom door way to prevent water flowing out and damaging the wooden floor in the room. Nice gesture to wake visitor for sunrise and offer free use of hiking rod. A must have for 20-30 mins up slope walk to the cable car station. Next door is undergoing renovation work from 8am to 5pm currently. Not a problem as you will go up to the mountain during that time slot.

The Gem in Emeishan. Food is great!! My best food in my 2 weeks trip in Sichuan. Must try!
