Very nice hotel The river walk is just across the road, Very convenient for shops. Breakfast great. Can preorder next day breakfast and time! Great idea! staff very helpful and friendly!

I had an excellent experience with the gluten-free breakfast options during ny stay. I was truly blown away by the variety and quality of the food they offered. It's not always easy to find good gluten-free choices, especially for breakfast, but they really exceeded my expectations at the New Inn. There were so many delicious options available that I didn't feel like I was missing out on anything.

Had a trip out with Montrose Stroke Club and a lunch of soup and sandwiches was booked together with tea or coffee. Although a price had been agreed with the organiser for the hire of the room and the soup and sandwiches no mention had been made that the tea and coffee was to be paid for outwith the agreed price. A simple lunch of soup sandwiches and a cup of tea cost far more than the high tea we had at the end of our day trip out

Stayed three nights 12/14 June. Hotel ,bar and restaurant were busy every night and manic on the Friday night due the Scotland/ Germany football match. Despite that the service was great, the staff friendly and very efficient and the food really good. Sensible prices too.Our room was as good as you get and absolutely no problems of any kind.We were visiting friends and relatives who live nearby and will certainly stay here again. Superb breakfast!

As usual we had a great stay at The New Inn .. I could write lots of comments but the simple way is to just be precise. .. Great Food .. Great accommodation .. Great Staff .. Great Value for money ... No more to be said. Looking forward to our next stay.

When almost every seat is taken in the restaurant on a Tuesday night , you know the food will be good ! And it was …. Freshly cooked from an extensive menu and quickly served by friendly and attentive team. My room was a good size recently decorated and had a decent sized desk where I could with with a good wifi service The whole experience from start to finish was great - and a superb breakfast finished off a great stay . Thanks for a great stay

Room was very comfortable, clean and quiet. Delicious food, with an interesting menu. Cooked breakfast was excellent with lots of choice. There is plenty of room in the hotel car park. Helpful and and friendly staff made the stay a pleasure. Couldn't fault this hotel at all.

What a great place to stay. Everything from check-in, meals in the fab restaurant with great service and in the bar as well. The rooms were very up to date and clean. We only stayed for one night. Didn't have a cooked breakfast because we were running the local parkrun that morning but what we had, cereal, toast etc was satisfying. Would I go back? Certainly.

I organised a wee suprise party for a friend who’s moving away. From the initial enquiry to the party, the team have been amazing. The room was a perfect size for a small intimate party. I’d ordered some nibbles which went down well with everyone. Our barnan Ryan is a credit to the New Inn. Polite, friendly and very helpful. Everyone had a great time. I wouldn’t hesitate to organise another there and highly recommend. Thank you everyone!
