Wir kamen spontan am Samstag. Zu unserer großen Freude, durften wir mittags schon unser Comfort Zimmer beziehen. Das Zimmer war angenehm groß und sauber. Die Betten sehr bequem, das Bad mit Dusche für uns ausreichend. Leider gabs keine Amenities, wie Wattepads. Was am meisten fehlte, war eine Bodylotion. Der Fön war leider nur ein laues Lüftchen-also besser eigenen mitbringen. Man hatte Zugang zu einem kl. Balkon und einem großen, der aber zum Nachbarn gehörte- also blieb hier der Vorhang immer zu, um vor fremden Blicken zu schützen. Das Personal an der Rezeption war super freundlich. Beim Frühstücksbuffet nicht sehr. Es gab ein ausreichend großes Buffet, sogar mit Omelettestation, Waffeln und Lachs. Leider hatten wir ein Zimmer genau über dem Eingang, was Schlaf nach 6.00h morgens unmöglich machte. Da wir nur zum Skifahren da waren, nutzten wir den Wellnessbereich nicht. Parkplatz stand kostenlos zur Verfügung. Alles in allem, top Lage, für einen Preis von fast 500€, fanden wir es überteuert.

Das Haus war sauber und gepflegt. Personal hilfsbereit und freundlich. Leider war die Bar eine negative Ausnahme. Nur der älteste Mitarbeiter Goran hat sich gekümmert, alle anderen haben uns ignoriert, obwohl wir jeden Abend da waren. Im alten Teil des Hauses fehlten leider Steckdosen. In der heutigen Zeit ist es wichtig. Die Chefin hat mit einer Mehrfachsteckdose umgehen ausgeholfen. Im Wellness Bereich (Sauna) fehlen Ablagemöglichkeiten für Brillen. Das Schwimmbad bedarf in den nächsten Jahren eine Renovierung. Vereinzelt waren Schadstellen sichtbar, aber nichts sicherheitsrelevantes. Von daher unter dem Strich ist das Haus sehr empfehlenswert und auch für einen Aufenthalt mit Kindern und Haustieren geeignet.

Yet another wonderful stay.The weather was decidedly mixed with a combination of beautiful sunny days heavy rain and the greatest amount of snow we have ever experienced in the many years we have visited here.No matter it was just such a pleasure to be there once again.The Hochflizer is such a special place to visit.First and foremost are the Staff who go out out of their way to make sure you have a great time,and nothing is ever too much trouble for them.Standards here are first class but what makes this hotel a standout is that each guest is made to feel so special,and this very much comes from the owner,Ingrid,for her attention to detail,and her great social interaction with her guests.Having visited over twenty times ,to maintain such high standards must be extremely difficult,but this is what Ingrid and her Staff have managed to achieve.

We revisited the Hochfilzer 40 years after going there for our honeymoon. We had the most wonderful time, the hotel owners and team were all fantastic and made our holiday the most enjoyable and memorable time. We can’t thank them enough for what they did to make it so special for us. The hotel is fantastic, the food delicious, the village and its occupants wonderful, the scenery breath- taking.

Schon der Empfang im Hotel war sehr freundlich und auch alle Mitarbeiter im Hause hatten stets ein offenes Ohr und waren sehr hilfsbereit. Die gute Küche und die abendliche Unterhaltung waren sehr gut.

We normally stay in chalets so we’re unsure what to expect for a ski hotel. Wow, what a hotel! Everything about Hotel Hochfilzer is special. The staff are simply perfect and the food sublime. Good value too. We will be back. Truly a very special family run hotel
