Overall expertise was pretty good. Rooms were clean and spacious and the view from our balcony was spectacular. Service in the restaurant was superb, all cooks and waiters were friendly and polite. However, unfortunately we had a difficult time getting to and from the hotel. It is located on top of a steep hill - making it difficult for large vehicles to go up. We had a large group booking, and the hotel refused to produce a shuttle service and they were considerably unfriendly to our drivers which was disappointing compared to the service we got for the rest our our stay.

A lovely hotel with the best view from a dining room that I have ever had - and I have travelled quite a lot! Every breakfast was a real pleasure! Well appointed rooms, very friendly and helpful staff. It is outside the main part of Ella, so it’s quiet - but a short walk in to town along the railway (much quicker than the road). There are not many trains, and they are slow, so it’s safe to walk along the tracks.

Amazing place to stay in Ella! The views from the terrace and rooms are amazing, and from the infinity pool! The rooms we had were incredibly spacious (but there were different size ones). The staff were friendly and very helpful. Easy walk into town, but down a steep hill or along the railway track (or you can get a tuktuk).

A big spacious room with great views over the mountains, and a gorgeous pool area. Although the weather wasn’t on our side, we still had a great stay here. You can walk down the railway track from directly outside the hotel, to nine arches bridge via Kandy, it took us about 40 minutes. Good breakfast each morning, we also had dinner once. Friendly and welcoming staff.

The view is breathtaking .. can’t describe it in words. The staff namely Mithun is excellent at his work. He took an extra initiative to make us feel comfortable and provided us with great service at the restaurant. The rooms are clean and has a view of the mountains and the valley. Best place to relax and unwind.

Hotel heeft prachtig zicht boven de vallei. Het hotel heeft geen lift dus moeilijk voor mensen die slecht te been zijn. Ook naar het zwembad veel trappen De badkamer is wel aan vernieuwing toe. De maaltijden en het ontbijt zijn lekker en verzorgd zodat het verblijf toch ok was. Vriendelijke bediening!

Wir waren auf unserer Rundreise 2 Nächte Vorort. Die Anfahrt den Berg hoch ist schon speziell😉. Angekommen wird man vom sehr freundlichen Mitarbeitern begrüßt und mit einem grandioser Ausblick dazu. Das Zimmer ist schön, Kühlschrank, Klima, Wasserkocher vorhanden und dazu Rasierer, Zahnbürste dazu! Zum Zimmer gehört eine Riesen Terrasse mit einem sensationellen Ausblick😍. Das Frühstück ist sehr umfangreich und liebevoll angerichtet. Das Abendessen a la Carte ist auch sehr gut, der Burger war lecker und mein einheimisches Gericht super!

Had a lovely stay at the mountain heavens resort as part of our tour of Sri Lanka! The team were so friendly and couldn’t do enough to help us. Special shout out to Ranjit for making our meals so enjoyable! He was so professional and kind! Rooms were lovely and comfortable. Pool area is great (even in the cloudy days) and the food was lovely and plentiful! extra thanks to the team (Shamika) for arranging a special meal and cake for my friends birthday which was above and beyond our expectations!
