Shuttle bus waiting time 1 hour at the pick up point (I stayed 2 nights and I had to wait 1 hour everyday!!!)
I called to the front at 8.50pm, 9.10pm that I be at the pickup point by 9.20pm but the hotel van came at 10.00pm!! So I have to wait at the cold outside for almost 1 hour!!!!!
The clean was terrible, at the first night I found a lot of dust on the floor and hairs. I told the front at the morning that to clean my room 2 times! but when i came back for night 2, it still fu..king there!!!!! My Nightmare for 2 night
So thrust me do not book this hotel (I have been Holiday inn all around the world but this hotel is worst!!!!!!)

it was slightly further away from the airport than thought but used the shuttle on the way back, hotel was clean and has a small gym, big pool and some outdoor facilities, the restaurant was quiet for dinner but pleasant

The location close to the airport is not bad, but there were 3 power outages during the period of use. There was also the issue of double payment. The interior facilities are not bad, but the price is disappointing. The room will not be cleaned unless requested.

Our flight was cancelled so American gave us 3 options to choose from. According to the selection this hotel was listed as 4 miles away, the closest. The uber took more like 20 so we were definitely more than 3 miles. Hotel rating 2 star at best. My husband had to kick the elevator door so it would close, which was scary riding up to the 3rd floor. Also we had to run the shower for 20min before we were able to to feel like warm water. The sink thankfully took only 10minutes for hot water to arrive. Disappointed at best but hopefully no one else has to experience this hotel. Do Not select this choice from American.

The hotel was quiet and the bed seemed cleaned. That is where all positives end. This place is a dump. Believe the reviews. It is in a very bad state. I stepped off the elevator to a torn up concrete floor with exposed conduit. No warning at all. I only stayed here due to a missed connection/airline error. United provided a voucher and this was closest. I’m sure I waited at least 1/2 hour for the shuttle. I’m glad I’m not sleeping on the floor at O’Hare. Now to review the airlines!

Avoid this hotel at all costs. It is in a sad state of disrepair and they could not care less. First, shuttle driver put 18 people in a 12 seat van from the airport. He drove aggressively in a snowstorm, at one point driving over a curb. The elevator doesn't work (no signs either, you figure it out when it doesn't move). An older couple in front of me had to climb 3 flights of stairs with luggage. When I get to the room, it's 61 degrees inside and the heater took 15 minutes to heat up the room. The best part is when I tried to shower in the morning, there's no hot water. A call to the desk and I was told "let it run for 15 minutes and it will get warm." Really? Wow. I had a shuttle to catch and could not wait for 15 minutes. Stairwells are filled with random trash, bathtub had obvious mold and our 5am shuttle back to the airport was late and the van was very cold. Unbelievably bad experience. If you book here, you will regret it.

I’ve had numerous stays here and previously reviewed. The warning signs were on my previous review. The only reason I continued to stay here is location to my Customers and a belief that things would improve. As of late January 2025, the hotel is no longer recognized as a Holiday Inn. Bugs in the room. Continuous water leaks in the hallways and rooms. Lack of hot water - 45 minutes is a ridiculous amount of time to wait for hot water for a shower. Two “security” doors were NEVER locked. Staff at the front desk - don’t get me started. The only upside to this review is that the bar/restaurant is under new management and has been remodeled. I hope some “responsible” company gets this hotel and refurbishes it. The place is a goldmine - if managed correctly. Previous management ran the place in to the ground. Still driving then lovely German vehicles though - so it worked out for them I guess.
