Motel 6 Elk City, OK

An older property with a customer focus like it should be. They have restored this place best they can to be a nice place. its older but everything is in working order & it could not feel more like home. GM remembers her guests from year to year. She is very customer focused & you can tell she has hired employees that do the same. Every time they see you they speak & ask f there is anything you need. Everything is clean & in good order. I will be back next year. They also LOVE the dogs.

During a trip through a heat wave through Oklahoma our vehicle broke down leaving my husband two dogs and myself with multiple heat related issues. The wrecker driver brought us here to cool off, get much needed rest. The staff was awesome from the front desk to laundry. I can't thank them enough for making sure we were ok, for answering questions and helping us out. Good things still happen in America and motel 6 here in Elk City, Oklahoma is one of those places! Thanks for EVERYTHING

We stopped for the night and when we arrived at the motel we had to look for the night clerk when we got into the room, the room was filthy. There were dirty towels in our bathroom, their were big black bugs that were called water bugs other wise known as giant water beetles. They were dead the sheets and bedspreads were stained. The floors were filthy. One of the entrance doors to the lobby was broken. I will never stay there again. We gathered up our stuff and checked out immediately after we checked in. We found another very nice motel to stay at.

My husband and I were traveling from Georgia to New Mexico with our two Great Pyrenees and needed a pet friendly place to stay for the night. First, when we arrived, we were met by the Debbie at the front desk. She was super friendly and helpful, and made our check in process super quick and easy. Let me say she is truly an ambassador for Motel 6! Our room was clean and quiet and everything we needed for an overnight stay. My husband and I will definitely stay here again when we travel back this way in the spring. And I hope Debbie is still there keeping the lights on for us when we come back - it's always nice to have a friendly face waiting for you after a long day in the car! Thank you Motel 6 for a wonderful stay.
