Riviera Hotel

What can we say ? Anna and her family gave us a perfect experience of Kefalonian hospitality . Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfasts were so generous and really set you up for the day.The hotel setting was perfect, just literally 10 steps from the beach and terrace. There are a few free sunbeds at The Riviera but again a few meters along the beach are paid for parasols and sunbeds and at 8€ for 2 it’s a no brainer.Rooms are simple but clean , and serviced daily. Its an ideal place to start exploring the whole island…car recommend as there is little public transport if you want to explore.We had half board and the evening meals were incredible, totally authentic Greek food cooked by Anna’s mother ( as were her breakfast cakes). Very generous portions , always with the option to have an alternative if you weren’t hungry or fancied something different…just as an example we had roasted chicken and Greek potatoes, moussaka, goat, Greek salad etc etc all gorgeous . Stayed for third time in this excellent spot right on the beach, a very warm and friendly hotel where you have staff who treat you like a friend, it's clean, comfortable and a perfect location. Breakfast is a feast but does set u up for the day, would recommend a stay here in a beautiful, quiet, warm and friendly hotel. Thank you Ana we shall return.

Wonderful, friendly Beach Hotel. All the staff are very attentive to your needs, very helpful and friendly. Rooms are basic but have all you need, nice beds, separate bathroom, T.V, Fridge, Kettle and the all Important Air Condition. (We were in Room 10) Breakfast was great to enjoy over looking the Ionian Sea each morning, the food was also very sumptious and good value for money, try the Cheese and Bacon Pizza (Just Yum) Chips are homemade from the Father's own Garden, this really is a delightful family run Hotel and we would definitely return, just maybe not in July (38 degrees is Hot) next time. We've just returned from our third consecutive year at this wonderful family-run hotel in Poros, Kefalonia, and once again, it exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, Anna and Dennis welcomed us like old friends, making us feel right at home. Their warm hospitality is truly unmatched, and it’s clear that they take great pride in ensuring every guest has a memorable stay. The rooms are spotless and well-appointed, offering stunning views of the surrounding area. Each morning, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast prepared with love by Anna’s mum, featuring fresh local ingredients and a variety of options to start our day off right. The tranquil setting of the hotel provides a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Whether lounging by the beach or taking a short stroll to the nearby tavernas, we always found peace and relaxation. We can’t thank Anna and Dennis enough for their incredible hospitality and for making our stays so special. We’re already looking forward to our next visit to this little slice of paradise in Poros. If you’re looking for a genuine, heartfelt experience in Kefalonia, this hotel is the place to be.

Just perfect…. The most stunning location, gorgeous view from balcony, comfortable, clean room and fantastic service. Breakfast on the terrace was brilliant and really set us up for the day. We loved Poros, lovely tavernas, lovely chilled vibe and beach quiet and not crowded with sunbeds. We hired a car and explored some of the island which is beautiful. We would definitely return and recommend 100%.

Great hotel poros right next to the beach, comfortable room great breakfast owners could not have been more accommodating,we had a late transfer and they let us have the room for as long as we needed,no extra charge.They treated all there customers in the same friendly fashion, will definitely return,if you are looking for a relaxing beach holiday I recommend this hotel highly.
