Premier Inn Elgin

5/5 - mollie sorted the bar under pressure , a credit to the hotel while short staffed. She managed to sort us a table fo myself and my work colleagues despite being short staffed and knowing we stay at the hotel regularly, she’s a credit to the company.

Very clean room and comfortable beds. No complaints. The staff at this Premier Inn were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. Enjoying a nice supper and cooked breakfast. A warm welcome with smiles from Mollie who works at the restaurant was always appreciated. Thanks for making me feel welcome. Would definitely book here if needed again.

The hotel is very good but I must say the restaurant staff was out of this world, mollie made us feel very welcomed and exceptional customer service, always welcoming us with a smile and good friendly chat. The food was fast and very tasty would definitely recommend

The room was very clean and comfortable. Great value and the staff could not have been any nicer!! The location is great for accessing and local amenities, I.e. mcdonalds and Costa near by. Great value for money. Would definitely stay here again.

We arrived fine and checked into our hotel fine however we found that when we returned from our evening our night got worse. Our children who are under 3 and ourselves were freezing cold as the heating in the room wasn’t working and holding the heat properly so we woke up very cold and feeling under the weather. Also your receptionist agreed the hotel heating isn’t working either!!! The beds mattresses on all the beds single and double were awful! Solid and very uncomfortable resulting in all of us feeling absolutely wiped out today! And to make it even worse the very expensive breakfast this morning was freezing cold at 8:30am! I had to ask the server to reheat and it still wasn’t great I ended up only eating toast at a very expensive £10.99 for a couple slices. Think of that twice for me and my partner which is ridiculous! Freezing cold conditions again the restaurant was awful! Couldn’t wait to check out this morning and get home so doubtful we would consider this venue again. For £124.98 a total rip off on this occasion.

I booked this 2 night stay (6 and 7 September 2024) in November of last year and I paid for the 'meal deal' at the time. One day before I arrived I had cause to phone the premier Inn at Elgin and ONLY THEN was I informed that the restaurant on one of the evenings I was to be there WOULD NOT BE OPEN. In the 10 months during which my booking has been 'live' no-one at Premier Inns had had the decency to contact me to advise me that the restaurant would not be open for evening meals. When I checked in at Premier Inn Elgin, the staff advised me on two occasions that my refund of £14.99 had been 'processed' yet, at the time of writing (16 September) I have still to receive this refund. The manner in which Premier Inns has handled this matter is disgraceful and indicates an appallingly low level of customer service.
