Hotel in an idyllic location on the Bode. Rooms are comfortably furnished and the terrace has rippling music. Friendly, nice staff. The breakfast was plentiful and varied. Unfortunately, the smoked Harz sausage was missing. The breakfast and dining room was very large and comfortable. The evening meal in the hotel was super tasty. If you need a break from the city and need to relax, this is the place for you. We will definitely come back and will happily recommend you to others.

We went here for dinner in the evening with a large family group and were completely delighted - great atmosphere, very tasty food (the menu offers a good selection - without being overloaded - so that everyone can find something) and nice, friendly service. Highly recommended, we will definitely come back...

We had a lovely weekend at the Bodetaler Basecamp Lodge. The location is wonderful and the facilities are new and modern. We also liked the rooms with terraces, but there is no socket in the bathroom to plug in your own hairdryer and it could have been cleaned more thoroughly - this is not to say that it was dirty, but the joints are vulnerable. The breakfast was very good and extensive. The evening menu in the restaurant also impressed us and everything was delicious. We can therefore give a clear recommendation and would be happy to come back.

Botetaler Basecamp Lodge is an authentic hotel with a beautiful old house as a central unit and tastefully decorated extensions. The rooms are tastefully decorated and we even had a private balcony with sun loungers next to the room and the fast-flowing river Bode. The beds were excellent. The food, both dinner and breakfast, was excellent with good and fresh ingredients. The owners do their best to run the business. to make the hotel as environmentally conscious as possible. There is virtually no 4G coverage, but the free WiFi is sufficient.

and very satisfied. The food was hot, very well prepared and the portions were large. The price was completely OK. The restaurant was busy both times and yet everything went smoothly. We were served very friendly and the location of the restaurant is great. Everything looks very well maintained. Recommended. The interior is very spacious. The person sitting next to you will definitely not look angry if the child runs around the table. Many thanks to the team.

We were travelling in a motorhome and were able to book a table for 4 people on Saturday at short notice. We haven't experienced such a nice, motivated young waiter for a long time. The food was delicious. We felt so comfortable as if we were regulars and almost on our first visit. Thank you very much for this lovely, cosy evening. Keep it up, we will definitely come back.
