Aloft Hotels in El Paso

Danny the front office person greeted me with a smile and made me feel welcomed. When I requested a different room, this was done effortlessly by Danny. As I was unfamiliar with the area Danny provided me with great directions. Danny could be used as a role model for customer service.

The room had mold,holes in the wall smelled like smoke. The worker Jocelyn refused to do a refund. They messed up the names on the reservation after confirming,they gave a huge run around rather than fix the issue. I am still pending my refund but you better off staying in a ditch than this placeUpdate:manager is dodging calls and still has not issued a refund, but will continue to follow up until issued already reached out to corporate but will do it again.

The hotel is under renovation, so the entire property looks bad. The room we stayed in was dirty. It looked like the beds had been made and towels placed in the room, but otherwise, no cleaning had been done. The floors were dirty, with crumbs and stains on the carpet and loose hair and dirt on the tile. The broken bar of soap on the edge of the bathtub alerted us that the tub was dirty, so we skipped taking a shower in that room. Although it was a non-smoking room, it smelled of stale tobacco smoke. There were loose sugar and creamer packets on top of the microwave. Outside, there was trash scattered all over. Yes, we realize that the property is being renovated, but this is not an excuse to leave trash on the ground. We stayed, but only because it was late and we did not want to risk being unable to find another room. The clerk when we checked in was polite and professional. That's the best we can say about this location.

On arrival at the Plaza, we were greeted by the wonderful valet Jessie, who helped us to our room after check in. We had a great room, lovely huge bed, private bathroom and everything we could need for a great stay. Situated really well for exploring El Paso downtown. We dined at Ansons 11 across the road, after choosing from their interesting and varied menu. The roof terrace was something else, with far reaching views and an amazing place to watch the sunsets, made all the more enjoyable by the friendly attentive staff and tasting an Alaska Pearl dessert! The rest areas within the hotel are very stylish and comfortable, with the central bar being a real design gem. The bar staff might want to keep their private conversations to themselves though while customers are drinking/eating at the bar?

Hotel is 5mins drive from El Paso airport. No shuttle provided so uber there. Clean big room equipped with small kitchen, writing table and a single seat sofa. Lots of eateries nearby. Perfect👍

I have stayed at this hotel multiple times, my most recent visit was an exception to the rule of excellent. We arrived to our room and a horrible smell of sewage hit us even my daughters didn't wanna go in the room. I called guest services and they had a valet switch our rooms in about 5 minutes and even upgraded us to a better room. Which I wasn't expecting but made up for that weird moment. Other than that our other stays are always pleasant and now I know if something goes wrong they'll go above and beyond to fix it! We've also visited the restaurants and they are a good place to eat and the location for us is 100% the best. Employees are also always friendly and helpful. Will recommend and continue to stay here in the future

The location is very good. It is in the center of the city. Nearby are the core values of the city-the Fine Arts Museum, the History Museum, the Cathedral, the Theater Square, and the Stadium. They are all a few hundred meters away. There are also trams for a ride. Social idlers are the main ones. The three mature steaks in the restaurant are great. The parking fee is not expensive. It would be a pity not to go to the Museum of Fine Arts.

The hotel's public areas and room decoration are full of Latin elements and lively. Room facilities are good, but not equipped with slippers, called the front desk and said that suites are required to have slippers. There is an outdoor swimming pool and gym on the 5th floor lobby. The only problem was that Ctrip prepaid but the hotel did not receive the payment during checkout. After contacting Ctrip customer service immediately, I agreed to repay at the hotel, and Ctrip refunded me later.

Room 165 – 66.38 for 31 days is 2,057.58 a month for this room Guess Elite Gold Choice Membership means nothing here. Asked for a handicap room and this was not it. Too tired to argue, besides the lady that checked us in left after checking me in. The room looked clean, BUT!!! The security lock on the door was broken off – ½ missing. The mini fridge was nice, but the freezer part was full of freezer frost, so it was hard to get flat ice packs in. We had NO TOWELS - a wash rag and a hand towel. Went to front desk and asked young man to please get us some while we were out for dinner. Came back and no one at front desk even rang bell. The combination lock door was open, so I stuck my head in and yelled. NO ANSWER, lobby deserted. Finally, he came in from the back parking lot and I asked about my towels and his face said it all - HE FORGOT. Look at the camera screen and found the lady that check us in and tried to talk her through a room were towels should be – not available - none dried. Told him I need towels after the drive from California. He told me that he would try, but normally [guess this happens a lot] you would have to wait till 0900. I said get some out of an empty room. On way back to the room I saw a lady and she gave me a towel and a wash rag. Said she would try to find some more. About ½ hour later she bought some, by now it was close to 2100 - 9 PM [I believe with time change]. Surprise – have towel rod holder [left & right in wall] but no rod, maybe that is why we had no towels. Had a partial roll of toilet paper but no new roll noticed around 0145, thankfully had Kleenex. Was going to shower but the exhaust fan is broken. Made so much noise and did not want to bother neighbors. Wi-Fi kept going out – most likely to many people using it at night. Finally used my hotspot to be able to do anything. Better Wi-Fi at 0445 in AM. Since we had no toilet paper went to lobby to use. No toilet paper in the lobby restroom. Front desk no toilet paper either but will tell manager at 0900. I told the young lady “What do I do now” at 0545. She went to ladies restroom and gave me a small partial roll. No hand towel paper to dry hands. Again, the front desk had nothing and will tell the Manager at 0900. No lobby telephone to call Choice, but she gave me the number 877-424-6423 [found this on website - You can also call 1-888-770-6800 for 24-hour assistance] Lobby water fountain out of order. Took picture of hallway trash. Look like to be yesterday’s collection of trash. Two U-Haul trucks are staying there. The smaller one unload all their items into the dumpster – let the front desk know. At the front desk a guest was there and said he rented 3 rooms for week and 1 for the night and no towels. Wanted to know about discount, got straight up bill when he checked
